Eloped on the Beach

Quick little spring break trip and eloped on the beach with our girls by our side! Perfect little unit with a very short walk to the beach. Very clean and slept plenty comfortably.

Pool was nice but could definitely use some updates. The condo was good it was clean and looked just like the pictures online. The kitchen was a bit tragic. I understand that being a rental, they will not have 5 star kitchen utensils in there, but there were several things it was lacking that made it difficult to function. I also had to request new pots and pans because the ones that were in there were not safe to use. Otherwise is was a nice stay.

The property was very nice. Beds were very comfy and Serta mattresses. Decorated nicely and cute. Location great and beach access across street. Pool was awesome and clean! The condo could have been cleaner but we know that isn’t on the owner. You can tell that the owners try and take care of their property but the cleaning services definitely lacked. Beds, kitchen, and living area were clean. The bathroom floors needed to be wiped up. Had to wash the bathroom rugs when we arrived. Hair seen throughout property. Vacasa did call and ask if we wanted cleaning services back and we denied it. It’s a great place just wish time could be spent cleaning a little deeper.

Had a very positive experience staying here. Does the unit show signs of age and wear and tear? Sure, but it’s the end of beach season. The closet to the laundry machine was stuck but Vacasa was very responsive and someone came out to fix the issue within 12 hours. The condo seemed really clean, there were small things like dust high up on walls, and the shower mats needed shaking out/washing, but it was cleaner than my house and none of that detracted from our stay.The private beach access point is awesome. Very close to the units and well-maintained. That was a big factor in our choosing this place, and it did not disappoint. The unit is designed and outfitted very thoughtfully, which I appreciated. A small indoor area for 4 people to sit and eat on would be my only addition but I can see where the architectural layout makes that hard.The check-in instructions are clear about respecting other people, particularly with regard to noise. This wasn’t an issue for us at all and we were happy to do it, but I was surprised when someone else in another building decided to have a rager (including dogs barking at top volume) at midnight on our last night there. It was so loud I could hear people’s names being screamed. I don’t know if that is common, but I would suggest a white noise machine, particularly if you are sleeping in the king bed.It made a great “home base” for our long weekend at the beach. I would stay here again and definitely plan to do so next year.
