About Steve McComb
We live next door to the cabin in the main house. The cabin has been on the property for about 50 years, hunters used to come up and stay in the cabin to hunt. The area is called Moose Meadows. When we bought the property the cabin was just a shell and we have been working on it for about 8 years. We put in a bathroom, kitchen cabinets, flooring and insulation in the ceiling. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.
Steve McComb purchased this Cabin in 1992

Great place to stay!
This cabin is in a perfect location. Its not too far to Glacier National Park, which is a plus. The cabin had everything we needed. It was a little small for our family of four, which included 2 teenage boys but we knew this before we arrived. Steve let us borrow an air mattress that our one son slept on. The waffle mix was a really nice touch and appreciated, since we didn't have any breakfast foods with us when we arrived. Steve was extremely helpful and gave us some good tips on where to eat and where to go. His property is extremely well kept. We loved sitting out on the porch and watching for animals. It is so peaceful and relaxing. So glad we came upon this cabin. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.
Perfect moutain cabin retreat!!
Our family stayed in Moose Meadow Crossing cabin during our trip to Glacier National Park! It was the perfect place to stay and relax after our days spent visiting and hiking in GNP! It's so peaceful and serene! Highly recommend! The owner, Steve was an amazing and kind host!! Very helpful! We enjoyed our time visiting with him!
We'll put this cabin on our list to stay again when we return to Montana! :)
Nice Cabin & Friendly Property Owner
My wife and I stayed here in June 2018 during our first visit to Glacier National Park. Steve, the owner and super nice guy, made us feel immediately welcome and checked on us once or twice during our visit to ensure we didn't have any problems or if we needed anything. He even allowed us to utilize the refrigerator in his house garage next door for our overflow grocery items. Though he lives next door, there was still plenty of privacy for us. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable for a couple and has all the amenities of home you need for a short stay. The cabin is missing a washer/dryer, but it wasn't a big deal for us. We liked the location of the cabin and it's proximity to both Whitefish and Kalispell. Watch out for deer while traveling on Farm to Market Road! You don't need to drive to Glacier NP to see wildlife, plenty of deer along side the road for photo opportunities. We would definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Very obvious the owner cares about his property and guests. Wonderful experience.
What a great place to stay! Steve was an excellent host, and the cabin had everything we needed! Located close to Whitefish, Kalispell, and Glacier. We will definitely stay there again if we’re ever back in the area.
Very comfortable and pleasant stay. It had everything we needed and was just as Steve described.
Steve is an excellent host. He checked on us and offered suggestions of things to do but left us alone as well. We found the location to be centrally located to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Kalispell. We would feel comfortable recommending this rental to friends and family.
