**NEWLY REMODELLED CONDO**

Aloha and welcome to our condo at the Waikiki Banyan, a premier resort located one block from Waikiki beach. Our suite is a corner unit on the 12th floor of Tower 1, facing the ocean and Diamond Head.

We have equipped this condo for our own occasional vacation use with an extensive range of quality supplies. Boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, snorkel gear and sand toys for the kids are just a few examples that distinguish our condo from others. Take advantage of our gear, and avoid the cost of purchasing your own temporary supplies.

Our suite is more spacious than most at the Waikiki Banyan, resulting in a larger living area and dedicated dining area. The additional windows open up the unit to Hawaii’s cool trade winds, plus you can enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean while preparing meals! We recently finished a complete kitchen upgrade with new appliances and granite countertop. We have also installed new flooring throughout the entire condo.

For added convenience, we have retained the cleaning and maintenance services of Koko Resorts, who have an office on the 5th floor of Tower 1. This benefit provides easy access to on-site maintenance if anything in the condo needs attention. If you need to do your own laundry, you’ll find a coin operated laundry room down the hall from our suite.

Your rental will include free secured parking within the parking garage, as well as free wifi in the suite. The Waikiki Banyan has a beautiful lobby with seating area, waterfall and koi pond. They provide a helpful activity station that can arrange for tours and excursions. For your convenience, there is a mini-mart offering a variety of supplies and goodies as well as a coffee shop, both located on the ground floor.

The 6th floor hosts an excellent recreation deck with features including a large swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, children’s playground, basketball & tennis courts, sauna room, barbecue grills, picnic areas, showers and restrooms. There is also a café that provides a large variety of meals, snacks and drinks. The comprehensive facilities make the Waikiki Banyan one of the most popular vacation destinations in Waikiki.

The east end of World Famous Waikiki beach is a short stroll from the resort and features a breakwater that creates a protected area of calm water, which is perfect for younger ones. However, the surf spots are not far away too.

Also located within a very short walking distance are Kapiolani Park, the Waikiki Aquarium, International Marketplace, Ala Wai golf course (the most popular municipal golf course in Hawaii), Honolulu Zoo, and the “Rodeo Drive” of Waikiki, Kalakaua Avenue. Car rentals, St. Augustine’s Church, supermarket, a multitude of restaurants, and shops are also easily accessible. For your added convenience, a bus stop is located in front of the resort which can take you locally or around the entire island of Oahu! All major attractions (Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, etc) can be accessed inexpensively by bus.

Brandie was born and raised in Hawaii and has lots of family on Oahu. Lee is from New Zealand so also part of the polynesian culture. We are raising our family in Southern California and visit Hawaii regularly for that much needed escape to paradise!

Everything you need and then some!

Fabulous set up here! We absolutely loved the apartment and the facilities. Having plastic containers to transport snacks for a toddler was priceless and we were able to choose to eat in or out! The location is great for small children with a playground and pool at the hotel and then the beach with the surf break was wonderful for swimming. The room was also lovely and quiet.

The room comes kitted out with enough toilet paper, paper towels, towels etc to last the stay.

In the interests of making sure people stay here with the right expectations... the bathroom was a little dated, the water pressure is a bit low on warmer temps and the bath is quite short. None of this was an issue for us, it is merely an observation. We LOVED this place.

The kitchen has been completely upgraded with new cabinets, granite countertop and all new appliances. We have replaced all flooring to give the entire condo a brand new look and feel. Excellent location and great views

This was our very first time renting a unit through VRBO. I read all the reviews on this unit and decided I had to book it. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. So much to say about this unit and building. We loved how close we were to the beach and only took a couple of minutes to get there. Close to shops and never worried about were to park. As for parking, the parking pass was left for us to park car in parking garage at no extra charge like hotels bill you for per night. The corner unit gives you two great views. Could partially see Diamond head on one side with the other being the ocean. We actually watched the fireworks from kitchen and bedroom windows on Friday night. All beach gear is provided so no need to rent lawn chairs or purchase boards or flippers. Bed and pillows comfy and we slept very well. We didn't use air conditioning much as there is a great breeze that comes in windows and we just used the one fan at night to drown out any noise from street. It is very quiet in Waikiki in the middle of the night and we were a bit surprised by that. Yes jet lag set in but we managed. Every day we made our own breakfast and lunches. It was nice to have ice packs in freezer and small containers to use. Purchased groceries at Safeway but go to walmart as it is a bit cheaper. Lots of towels provided, free wifi and the building itself we found quiet. No need to stand in line at a check in and out desk and no need to always dip in your pocket for valet service. This is the best way to keep costs down. I will never stay at a hotel again. I highly recommend this place. Oh and make sure you go across the street to Mac24/7/ One of the best meals we had. It is in the Hilton so just eat there and stay Lee and Brandie's.

Great central location in Oahu. Clean and cozy.

We were two couples visiting Hawaii for a wedding. The condo was in a central location as we visited the North Shore, Pearl Harbour, the craters and sights in Honolulu and along the southern coast. The set up was good. Bathroom is located off the bedroom, but a privacy wall could separate the room from the living room. They had everything you needed to enjoy the beach or pool. They have a great book with advice of places to eat and visit. Also their guestbook was a great way to see what other's enjoyed while staying there. You will be minutes from Waikiki beach. WiFi would go out for five mins at a time randomly. Having access to the pool/and barbeques on the 6th floor was great. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us. We look forward to visiting Oahu in the future!

Waikiki is most famous for its beaches - the calm waters of Waikiki are perfect for a surfing lesson. But there’s more to Waikiki than just the beach. Attractions of Waikiki like the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium offer fun for the whole family. Among the various things to do, fantastic shopping and dining can be found all along Kalakaua and Kuhio Avenues and at gathering places like the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the Waikiki Beach Walk.

Best of all, Waikiki is within a half hour of a variety of Oahu attractions, including Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, the Nuuanu Pali Lookout and Hanauma Bay. Other notable points of interest nearby include Ala Moana Center, the local neighborhood of Kapahulu and the arts district of Chinatown.
