Thetis Island Getaway

Nestled off the West Coast of British Columbia, Thetis Island is home to approximately 400 residents and zero predatory animals.  Peace and tranquillity, picturesque rural landscapes, stunning shorelines, and crystal-clear waters await visitors.  

Residents enjoy convenient amenities, including two marinas and a variety of cottage industry businesses. There are no large grocery stores on the island, so bring what you need for an epic vacay. The marinas do offer general provisions like fresh fruit and local veggies, fresh and frozen meats, a variety of cheeses, freezer sections, and a curated selection of alcohol. 

Pawsitively pet-friendly! 

Bring your furry friends along for the adventure—Dogs are more than welcome to join you on the boats. Just don’t forget their lifejacket. Whether they’re lounging on the deck or cruising the waters, your dogs will have a blast (and so will you)!

We had a lovely time and the cabin was great. Super easy to check in and out. The kayaks and paddleboards were a hit and enjoyed exploring. Water was calm and warm and we will be back for sure next summer.

Absolutely beautiful place, plenty of amenities at the cottage, and great host. You can kayak to a nearby island and see a bunch of seals sunbathing. Just a fantastic place to relax by the water, read a book, play cards, and drink a beer.

Excellent property! Only thing to be aware of is that you need to bring all of your garbage off the island with you so just be aware of that before arrival.

We had a lovely two night stay at TIGA with our young adult kids and dog. Really enjoyed the covered deck, view, dock and access to kayaks for exploring out on the water. The cabin is clean, nicely decorated and set up well for a relaxing stay. Kitchenette had everything we needed for preparing easy summer meals including a good sized toaster oven and hot plate. Appreciated filtered water tap as found water on island had a mild sulfur smell. Thanks for the warm welcome Elly - we would love to come back to TIGA for a future stay!

Best private ocean stay ever!

This was such a lovely place to stay. A private ocean getaway. We swam, went kayaking, and rested on a private dock. The house was fully stocked with all we needed, the bedrooms were lovely, the outdoor shower was a plus, and the covered deck was perfect for our evenings. The host Elly was amazing, she even connected us to a local fellow that delivered us fresh crab for an incredible price! There were such little extras, like her homemade jam which was delicious. Telegraph cafe nearby was also a delight for a serene cup of coffee and homemade goodies. Thanks Elly, we will definitely come again!!
