UBICACIÓN
-Ballard / barrio Sunset Hill
- Bloqueos de Sunset Hill Park y Viewpoint (una de las mejores vistas de Seattle, con vistas a Puget Sound, la Cordillera Olímpica, Shilshole Bay Marina, etc.)
-Minutos de todo lo que el vecindario de Ballard tiene para ofrecer: restaurantes, bares, cafeterías, mercado dominical de agricultores durante todo el año.
-Minutos del parque y playa Golden Gardens.

LA CASA
-Dos dormitorios en el nivel principal: cama doble / Full en cada uno. Cortinas / cortinas opacas para garantizar una buena noche de sueño. TV en una de ellas.
-Dos baños: uno en el pasillo entre dos dormitorios, el otro se conecta a un dormitorio y la sala de estar.
-Suelo (parcialmente terminado): amplio, accesible desde el piso de arriba y el patio trasero. Sala de TV y tercer dormitorio adicional opcional con cama de tamaño completo. No hay baño todavía en este nivel.

EL JARDÍN
Árboles frutales (nada maduro todavía, algunas manzanas pronto), arbustos de bayas, hierbas y huertos ... ¡ayúdense!

ESTACIONAMIENTO
Abundante, pero requiere explicación.
Punto # 1: Jale directamente hacia la puerta del garaje, pero es posible que tenga que retroceder primero para no sobresalir en el callejón (la cerca lo hace un poco difícil)
Punto n. ° 2: Justo detrás del punto n. ° 1 (está bien estacionarse en el césped. Prepararé parte pronto para convertirlo en un camino más largo)
Punto # 3: Frente a la casa, justo en frente de la parada de autobús. La mayoría de las personas se estacionan a mitad de camino en la acera para no salir a la calle.
-Y hay mucho aparcamiento en el barrio.

Lavadora / secadora en el sótano

Beautiful house! We are Seattle locals but we're having our house painted so we wanted to get ourselves and our dogs out of the house. This place was perfect and worked so well for the dogs with the fenced in yard. The house had everything we needed and the check in/out process was a breeze. Sam was super communicative and let us do a later checkout to accommodate some work meetings. We only used one bedroom but the house was set up great for a larger group and we may be booking again when family visits. We also walked to sunset park multiple nights which was lovely. Thanks again!

This was the perfect spot for our family to gather. We were attending a wedding at Rays Boathouse. The location was close to the venue and perfect for small trips in Seattle.

Great location and beautiful home

Definitely 5 stars in every category--quiet, clean, conveniently within walking distance to Ballard Farmer's Market and restaurants, off-street parking, lots of space, and a kitchen with everything we needed for coffee and cooking. Staying here made our family visit to Seattle relaxing, comfortable and fun.

A home away from home

We sold our house in balllard/phinney area last summer so it was wonderful to stay in another 1926 era home in the Ballard neighborhood. It was welcoming like home. The house is nicely appointed, though one of our avid salad fans would have appreciated a larger bowl for salad - not all of us shared that requirement . They allow d a well behaved dog which added to the homey-ness. We would definitely rent this location and any property owned by this person.

Early Christmas enjoyment

There’s nothing this VRBO did not have, they thought of everything! Ample supplies throughout and so clean and cozy yet spacious and quality. Hot water and fully loaded kitchen were awesome. I frequent Seattle and will book again in a heartbeat!

Perfect getaway

The house was spotless when we arrived. An absolutely beautiful home and everything was so well thought out for guests. The neighborhood was so cute, very safe, and a perfect distance from great restaurants and not too far from downtown Seattle. We had an excellent stay and would definitely stay again should we come back into town!

Sam has a charming and comfortable home, impeccably clean, and well equipped with whatever you might need during your stay. Perfect house

The Ballard house was very clean, nicely equipped and very charming. Great backyard for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. The location worked very well for us. Sam is very responsive and always answered my questions promptly. I would definitely recommend this property and in fact have already done so.

Fantastic host and home. Attention to detail is everywhere including the excellent home binder with need-to-knows and great suggestions for coffee, food, activities and places to see. Loved the gas fireplace. There also is a beautiful backyard. Home layout was great for four adults needing three bedrooms.

Sweet property that exudes thoughtful love and care.

This is a great place to “land”, rest and breath. Located in beautifully picturesque Ballard near Sunset Park, the home is well appointed and filled with charming touches that make it attractive and inviting. The owner is engaging and accessible; interested in making sure you have all you need to enjoy your stay. My daughter, my infant granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back again.

Beautiful Craftsman in Great Neighborhood

My mother and aunt stayed in the house for a week while they were in town for a visit. The house is beautiful - great furnishings, comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen. It's clearly not an investment rental - it had everything they needed and more. And all of it was of great quality. We'd love to rent the house again if we need overflow for guests.

Best VRBO Experience

The stay waa magical from the host to the property and location. This is a real home, it is furnished like someone lives there - with quality goods and a packed kitchen. Our family stayed for early Christmas- 8 adults. We loved the home and couldn't stop raving about it. It was also the cleanest home I've stayed in as a rental, it was spotless. 10/10 recommend. Coziest Christmas by the fire.

Lovely Gem

We stayed in this property in early April 2023. The house is as charming as the pictures suggest (if not more so). We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace, lights in the backyard, coffee, and Sonos sound system. Parking was easy and off the street. Sam coordinated everything well in advance of our trip and was always available for answering questions. I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Seattle.

Family trip

We stayed here while exploring Seattle and surrounding areas. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is a charming house with lots of character. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We picked up pastries in the morning at local cafe which is a few blocks away and had a nice morning walk. Easy walk to great sunset views as well. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops in main area of Ballard which is very close. Communication with the owner is easy. Would be happy to stay here again.

As good as it gets

We stayed at Sams place for a recent weekend visit to Seattle. I’ve stayed in many short-term rental properties around the world and I must say I’ve never stayed in a place that was more completely equipped with everything you might want or like and more. The place is in Ballard and very conveniently located to sunset park or downtown shops and local neighborhood cafes and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and despite being located in a busier thoroughfare, it was very quiet. I don’t think anyone could ask for more. Definitely would stay here again when visiting the area.

Fantastic Home Away from Home

Sam is an excellent host! My family, me, and my three dachshunds stayed here for a weeklong surgery and recovery and it was immaculately clean, cozy and inviting, has lots of character, modern conveniences, in a beautiful location and includes a lovely little yard. We went down to the beach several times (blocks away), enjoyed the delicious wine and chocolate thoughtfully left for us by Sam, and even walked around the beautiful neighborhood. We felt right at home and want to stay at Sam’s everytime now! Thank you so much, Sam, we will be back!

Perfect Seattle vibe

The reviews are true! What a great little bungalow, tucked into a delightful neighborhood in NW Seattle. Sam is an exceptionally thoughtful host, who clearly has given a lot of thought to how to create a great experience for his guests. We liked everything about our stay and would happily stay again. We're former Seattle residents and were happy to have a landing spot near all of our favorite places. If you're looking for a home and location that offers a "live like a local" experience, this is it.
