Big Horn #29 is a ski-in/out, 3 bedroom/3 bath slopeside home. We are perfectly situated in the Big Sky Resort Mountain Village to be ski-in/ski-out and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in the Mountain Mall. This large condo (1595 sq ft) is perfect for families and groups of friends; and we welcome children. Poma lift access to the base of Big Sky is only feet from the front door. The Mountain Village is the only place to be during ski season.

Why Julie chose Mountain Village

We have visited Big Sky for many years now as a family. We chose to purchase our Big Horn #29 simply because we felt it was the best location on the entire mountain! Being just three doors away from the poma lift affords you the ability to head home for a quick lunch or send the kids home when they are tired.

What makes this condo unique

We love the idea of being able to meet friends for a drink after the last run and not having to catch the last shuttle to the parking lot. Just ski down the hill several hundred yards when you are ready to call it a day!

Easy access to the slopes via the Poma. Easy access to the condo during the day to have lunch, adjust clothes, etc. Easy to use facility, kitchen and mud room made for easy meals and easy transitions from slope to sleep and back. Easy access to the base facilities, Mall area and Huntley.

If it were my place I would swap one of the upstairs master suites with the bunk room. 3-4 in the bunk room is tight and the masters have WAY too much room ( I was in the bunk room . . . HEY, I set up the trip! how did that happen?) . . . but its not my place and we had a great trip, mostly because we were there to ski and we did a lot of that!!

We were very happy with our 2 night stay. The unit is spacious, immaculate, and tastefully appointed. It is located just steps away from a ski lift, and a very comfortable walking/skiing distance from the village.

Great choice

Just returned from a 5 night stay. This unit worked very well for our group of 5 guys on an annual ski trip. The location is fantastic as the poma lift is within 100 yards of the front door, about as close as it gets for the local condos. Walking to the Mountain Village is easy and enjoyable. I'd suggest dinner at The Cabin Bar and Grill (it's not bar food!). The kitchen in the condo is stocked beyond expectation, nothing is lacking. The unit was very clean and well maintained. Comfortable seating for only 4 people, lack of hot tub access and poor lighting for reading in the evening would be my only negative comments.

Winter Wonderland!

This condo was perfect for our family an friends NYE vacation! Super clean, cute, an spacious. Was well represented in the description. Easy walking distance to ski base an restaurants. The condo had everything we needed an the kitchen was stocked with lots of various cooking items to make dining in easy. Only thing that would have been cool is a outside BBQ for grilling steaks ;) Will definitely book again when we return to Big Sky!
