Sparing no expense this top floor, direct beachfront unit has been totally and completely remodeled. Our new design palette was inspired by the sand and gulf waters to create a sophisticated and chic yet casual and comfortable vacation retreat.
The newly completed renovations feature higher ceilings, an open kitchen with gray bamboo cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, new tile floors throughout and new bathrooms. We have decorated with new furniture, artwork, and electronics.
With the kitchen opened up you will enjoy great room living with a fabulous beach view. The round dining room table can accommodate six people. Relax on the comfortable leather sofa and two side chairs while you watch the new flat screen/high definition television. There is also a blue-ray player, dvr and video on demand through comcast.
The owner's suite has sliding glass doors to a private balcony where you can enjoy the sounds of the gulf and views of the beach. You'll sleep soundly on the new king sized bedroom set with special linens. There is a new flat screen/high definition television.
The master bathroom has two under mount sinks, granite counter tops, glass tile detailing, a makeup area, and a his and hers customized and expanded closet. The walk-in shower completes this modern design.
The guest room has two twin beds, customized closets and a new flat screen/high definition television. For privacy there is access to the second bathroom.
The guest bathroom functions as a full bath with a tub/shower and a powder bath with doors to both the guest room and the main living area. The contemporary design continues with a glass vessel sink poised on a silestone countertop and a unique glass tile backsplash.
Enjoy cocktails and sunsets on the balcony from the high top bar table with bar chairs. There are also comfortable chairs and ottomans for reading and relaxing. Both great room and master balconies have been re-tiled.

About Ron Collier
This unit has been in our family since 1980. As original owners my parents lived here full time when they followed us to Sarasota from Maryland. We have many memories spanning four generations of Colliers enjoying celebrations, playing at the beach and pool, and our traditional Sunday visits with dinner and cocktails on the beach until the sun set.
Ron Collier purchased this Condo in 1980

Beautiful beachfront condo!
We moved to Florida 33 years ago, from the Midwest, and have visited many beaches along our coastline. We have been vacationing on Longboat Key for over 30 years because we love it there. It is, by far, my favorite beach resort area. Classy, sophisticated, quiet, safe, gorgeous beaches, beautiful, calm water, great for boating, bicycling, and wonderful restaurants and shopping. It is not your typical, touristy beach town. My two boys grew up on the white sand beaches there. We have stayed in hotels, homes, condos, resorts. And after all this experience, we have found we prefer staying in an oceanfront condo. I hit a home run when I chose this condo in Beachplace for our latest month long stay. Newly redone, from top to bottom with the latest styles, new furnishings, a kitchen full of anything you could need, comfy beds, front loader washer, dryer and best of all, an absolutely gorgeous view. Top floor gets you higher celinings and more deck, beachfront. Buildings are only 6 stories, which feels safer, and cozier. We saw manatee, dolphin, sting rays, sea turtle nests by the dozens, and the water was warm and calm for playing. This condo has been cared for with love, and was spotless, which was very important as we have a granddaughter crawling everywhere. Beachplace has a beautiful, huge pool, hot tub, and best of all, kiddie pool for the baby. She is 10 months and could walk around by herself, the water was shallow enough. It was completely covered with a permanent awning, which made all the difference in the world; nice and shady for all of us sitting on the edge. We could stay until she tired herself out without worrying about the sun.
If you prefer the nicer things in life, this condo would be a great choice. The owners are local, nice folks, and very helpful. You will not be disappointed. The photos do not do this condo justice. It is even better in person. I rarely make recommendations to friends, however, this is the exception.
Enjoy your stay!!!
When you are ready to take a break from the pool and beach you can enjoy many local restaurants and shops less than two miles away in St. Armand's Circle or drive a little further to Downtown Sarasota. Mote Marine aquarium is less than a mile away. You can enjoy viewing sea life including sharks, giant sea turtles, dolphins, and manatees. While there don't forget the numerous boutiques, consignment shops, antique stores, and art galleries on Palm Avenue, State Street, Main Street, Pineapple Avenue, and Orange Avenue. For water sport enthusiasts take a trip to the Marina Jack Bayfront (3 miles away) to rent Jet Skis, Boats, Fishing Trips or Cruises around Sarasota Bay. If you don't like the sports enjoy a drink at O'Leary's Tiki Bar on the water. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens (3 miles away) is a tropical paradise where you can enjoy Florida specimens and lush foliage. The Gardens maintains a plant collection numbering more than 20,000 greenhouse plants, including orchids and bromeliads, plus thousands more in the outdoor gardens. Eight greenhouses include the stunning Tropical Conservatory where unusual flora can be seen year round. For those interested in fine art you should visit the Ringling Museum located on US 41 and University Parkway. While you are there you can tour Ca' D' Zan (John Ringling's house) on the bayfront, reservations are required. The Circus Museum, The Banyan Theater, and the historic Asolo, is also located on the grounds. For live theater and lifetime events check out The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, The Players Theater, Florida Studio Theater, Cabaret Lounge, The Sarasota Opera House, The Sarasota Ballet, and the FSU/Asolo Conservatory.
