Indoor hosting:
Acorn House is a spacious 5,000 square foot home with multiple sitting areas, perfect for hosting families and large groups, or enjoying the peace and luxury of a large space shared between partners.

Indoor social spaces include the family room with an open kitchen, a separate den, and a finished basement. Our living space also includes a wood-burning fireplace, Sony Bravia TV with a full suite of streaming apps, and an 8-person dining table.

Outdoor hosting:
Outdoor social areas include the oversized front deck with a barbecue grill. Coming soon: an outdoor hot tub, private office/workspace, and Sylvox waterproof outdoor TV.

The deck is the main attraction of our all-season retreat, featuring direct views of Hunter Mountain, a propane grill, and outdoor seating for entertaining and dining. Our deck is a perfect place to unwind and make memories with family and friends.

Bedrooms:
Upstairs are two Queen bedrooms and a King bedroom with a double-vanity bathroom and jacuzzi. Each bedroom upstairs has full, en-suite bathrooms. Two additional bedrooms are in the basement with a shared bathroom, along with a pool table and home movie theater.

Cooking and dining:
The fully equipped kitchen features a broad range of appliances, a spacious island, and all the essentials to cook for a group. A large dining table comfortably seats 10, perfect for family dinners or game nights. Our kitchen comes fully equipped with standard appliances—refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, and oven—as well as coffeemakers (we provide the coffee and pods), a Crockpot, a blender, a rice cooker, two air fryers, a toaster, a tea kettle, and a curated collection of dinnerware.

Bathrooms:
Acorn House has four full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Each full bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and hand and body soaps, and fresh towels.

Our home accommodates large groups while ensuring privacy and comfort. The ensuite bedrooms are perfect for multiple families, and the thoughtful outdoor spaces make it easy to create memories.

Acorn House is nestled on a quiet cul de sac just a short drive from Hunter and Windham Mountains—5 miles from Hunter and 6 miles from Windham. By car, both Hunter and Windham are less than 10 minutes away, and Tannersville is 15 minutes away, making our location perfectly situated for skiing, hiking, and exploring the best of the Great Northern Catskills.
