We stayed for 4 nights here with our 3 "younger" kids.....ages 14 to 24. We were concerned about only 1 bathroom, but it worked out well, and the hot water never ran out. The house is small, but the loft area and 2 bedrooms do provide enough room for everyone. The loft upstairs is a little warm, but there are ceiling fans. We stayed here years ago when the house was owned by a friend, and there is no closing off the loft area, so privacy may be an issue. We slept in the queen bedroom downstairs, and it was comfortable, but very little space to put suitcases. The stacking laundry is in this bedroom closet. I went to bed and slept well with the dryer running, and wasn't bothered at all by heat or noise. The kitchen may be the biggest issue. It's galley style, very well equipped, but you can't open the fridge and dishwasher at the same time. I wouldn't suggest more than 5 people, even though there's sleeping space for more than that. The dining room table just fits 6, and that is tight.
We would stay here again. We love Seaside and are grateful for the opportunity to have been blessed with this cottage.
Adorable house in great location! We worried the distance to the beach would be tough with or 3 & 5 year old, but it was so easy with our wristbands to the private beach!! We brought a bike trailer with us and only used our car when we stocked up on groceries because we were close to everything. The kitchen is super tiny and not much room for food, but so many great food options here. We enjoyed our stay.
This cottage was perfect for me, my daughter, and my sister and her husband. I was right across the street from the beach and a very short walking distance into town. The cottage was slightly dated and more run-down than others in the area. But a great price!
