we all liked it , great view nice place
The property although beautiful, was not very clean. Layers of dust, awful stove, 2 days waterless
I don’t believe that it was worth the rental price at all. It was dirty. Two days with no water. One day with no internet. Lots of bees in the home. Very run down. Grill insides are not usable. Bad stove. Broken love seat. Missing faucet handle. Terrible showers with no water pressure. Dangerous staircases especially for small children to fall thru. We will not be renting here again.
Bear Paw Lodge is truly a beautiful and unique custom log cabin. Please read through all of the wonderful reviews left by our many guests who report that Bear Paw Lodge has met or exceeded their expectations. It is true that we had an unfortunate water leak that occurred during this stay. And, it occurred on a rainy, cold Sunday. In spite of the challenges our plumber got right to work on the problem and worked tirelessly until the water leak was repaired. The low water pressure the guests experienced was due to the leak. Good water pressure has been restored to the cabin. Due to the bad weather we also had a loss of internet for several hours. Xfinity had repair crews out to make repairs and reinstate the internet. Rest assured we work diligently to resolve any issues that arise during a guest stay. We are only 1 phone call, text or email away. We invite you to experience the grandeur and incredible views of Bear Paw Lodge.
a great property,and private setting
my family get together was great.
We loved our stay at Bear Paw Lodge !
Every thing was perfect. All rooms were clean and ready for our stay . The kids loved the game room . Overall the lodge was perfect for our stay ! We had a great time.
Beautiful property- looks just like the pictures
Loved the house- the entire family was very impressed! The view is amazing and we have been to many cabins in Gatlinburg- this, by far, topped them all... The drive up is a bit steep, but not at all what I had imagined based off of others reviews. Once you get to the cabin, you wont want to leave. Val and Renee have done a wonderful job in making sure all of your needs and wants are cared for and more. Loved it and cant wait to go back to make more family memories...
Definitely not disappointing! Better than the pictures, more than we expected! Our family of sixteen, between the ages of 8 and 71, all agreed that the Bear Paw was the place to be for spring break this year. The drive up the driveway is breathtaking, literally (best to be done in daylight the first time)! The cabin is unbelievably awesome; beautifully constructed with lots of room and conveniences for everyone. The view is one that can be enjoyed no matter what the weather is, day or night! Some of our activities included eating at The Peddler and The Park Grill, zip-lining, driving ATVs, horseback riding, doing the Escape in PF, shopping, taking a day trip to the Biltmore, and of course enjoying the natural beauty of the area and the National Park (various falls, Klingman's Dome, Cades Cove, etc.) Val and Renee were very pleasant and easy to work with in making arrangements for this stay at The Paw. Highly recommended place! Quite an adventure!
