About Vacasa of Oregon Coast
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

The location of this house couldn't be much better -- a short walk to town or the beach with a view of the ocean from the main living area.
Decor is simple, the furnishings are tired, the appliances are old/tired and the kitchen is marginally stocked.
But the view and the location are great!
Overall, pretty good, but...
We enjoyed the house overall. However, there were some hiccups. First, someone had turned the hot tub down to 91 degrees and it took over a full day to heat up to a normal hot tub temperature. Also, there were many dirty and broken items in the house. One of four deck chairs and one of four chairs at the fire pit were broken beyond use. A lot of the pans and dishes had food encrusted on them. And lastly, the weird plastic protection on the stairs had nails sticking up that I caught my foot on more than once. Overall, the house is good and the location is amazing, but it does need some TLC or upgrades.
The house was nice and so close to the beach. My only issue wasn't with the house itself, it was that we have a young baby who crawls and the stairs are pretty steep. We luckily brought baby gates with us but if u have young kids who aren't used to stairs you may want to stay somewhere else. Other than that the house was great!
proximity to beach
Great funky home!
We will be back for the view from the hot tub.
Pros: Location is great - view of ocean & VERY close to everything. Ample space and two living spaces is a bonus.
Cons: There was a musty smell and the kitchen was very lacking in the basics and everything seemed like it should be replaced. Not a single wine glass to be found. Didn't seem like it had been stocked by a rental management company.
It was a decent place but in comparison to other homes we've rented in Manzanita, seemed a bit overpriced for what it offered.
Thank you for providing your feedback! We have passed along your suggestions to our local staff and we will continue to make upgrades to this home. We hope to host you again soon!
