This sunny chalet-style home will set the tone for a fun Manzanita getaway for the whole family. The soaring vaulted ceiling and high windows bring light and air into the living room, where contemporary furnishings and a large TV share space with a wood stove. The kitchen has a pass-through window and a small breakfast bar—on the other side of the wall there’s all you’ll need to cook complete meals and serve them in the dining room which has room for six. Through sliding doors you can enjoy a large deck furnished for meals or just kicking back and enjoying the ocean breeze. Two comfortable bedrooms (1 with a King Bed, and 1 with a Queen bed) share a hallway bath. You’re on a nice wooded lot in a residential area off the beaten path, but it’s still an easy walk to the beach or the village. Come see why this place is amazing—and enjoy all the fun activities of the North Oregon Coast!

Thank you for staying with us and for the feedback. I’m sorry your stay didn’t earn five stars. We completely understand the frustration about the missing hand soap and are happy to provide the update that our soap supplier recently re-stocked our hand soap. We do our best to fight against odor that might result from the coastal elements, including placing an ozone machine in the home periodically. Our maintenance team plans to do that during the next vacancy this month. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us!

Relaxing Getaway

Loved just relaxing on the front deck and it was nice and quiet but still close enough to walk to the store, shops, etc.

Host was communicative. The chalet was spacious with lots of natural light. I must mention that the main room was very noisy at night. There was a constant dripping sound on the wall next to the head of the bed so it was hard to ignore. I thought at first it was raindrop but it barely rained and didn't even rain the following day and there was still that noise. This was not a very good experience from a sleep deprived first time mom like me. All I needed at night was to sleep and I was not able to sleep well because of that. I wish it was mentioned, I could've brought my Loop earplugs. The rest of the stay was okay.Also, some tea bags would be a nice gesture. I just bought some the next day.

I’m very sorry about the dripping noise next to the bed and how that affected your sleep. That's the first time that has been reported to us, so we sent our maintenance team to investigate it. Great house - close to the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay - house was very clean and comfortable. Just a few minutes to walk to town and to the beach. We were just in town for a couple of days, but had a fun and relaxing time!

Wonderful little bungalow

Great little bungalow in beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Our stay here was super comfy especially the king size bed. The beach, restaurants, stores are all very close by. We would love to stay again on our next trip.

We loved our stay at Amazing Place! Everything was as expected--even nicer, I dare say. I probably have some minor quibbles about the bathroom (it's teeny), mattress softness, and climate control (be warned: the heat works great and the windows admit a ton of sun when the shades are up, meaning that the main room can get awfully warm during the day), but my family found the house cozy and quite charming, easy to access, and perfectly equipped with our needs. (We used the fireplace on our second night and loved it; it was so much easier to get started than many other wood-burning fireplaces we've attempted to use at VRBO properties!) We will definitely add this spot to our list of go-to places for our annual mid-winter coastal getaway.Folks looking to rent this place should note that it's a downhill walk to the beach, meaning an uphill slog on the way back, so if you're not an enthusiastic walker, this could prove difficult. But for folks who like an excuse to get some steps in--and especially for those who like a little challenge with those steps--the walk can be an absolute delight, as it's on quiet, lightly-trafficked streets past the range of coastal architectural styles so characteristic of this lovely town.

Lovely cottage near the beach

The place was really lovely, quiet, cute and well stocked. the bed and linens were super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and things to cook, the place was nicely decorated, and the washer and dryer were great to have.
