You’ll be glad to come back to this bright, well equipped home with a woodstove, TV/DVD, comfy, casual furnishings and a spacious, skylit kitchen/dining room. Two queen bedrooms mean you can bring the kids or invite friends to share beach time. The wrap-around deck on the front and side of the home give you a nice gathering place outdoors. Wonderful house and walking distance to the beach! We could hear and see the ocean from the deck. House was very comfortable and kitchen was reasonably stalked with utensils. We will definitely stay here again.

The Beach

We have been looking for the perfect fit at Manzanita for awhile. This was just perfect for us and our little dog. We will be booking again!

We enjoyed our stay in this home - it's all about location! Just steps from the beach and a short walk to the "downtown" area, we loved the convenience of enjoying the best of Manzanita. Some of the reviews talk about the house being in need of updates. Sure, it's not the most modern home, with hotel-quality beds/towels. But it is very well-appointed and was an excellent homebase for the exploring we did up and down the coast. And, again, you cannot beat the accessibility to the ocean! one more thing...after visiting Astoria, Cannon Beach, etc. I'm SO glad we went with Manzanita. It has far fewer tourists and is so quiet and charming, in comparison. Highly recommend this property!

It was the perfect getaway for a couple of days if you want to stay right near the beach. The place was a bit dated and small, but it was clean.

Location was amazing, shower curtain was pretty new, and couch/loveseat were very nice, but the good things about the property stopped there. ALL the linens, including pillows, looked like they were picked up at Goodwill. Pillowcases were fraying they were so old. The dryer was pulled out three or so feet with both shredded and intact venting on the floor. The smell in the house was bad, to the point my husband bought a candle to burn. I could go on but you get my point. Unsure how this property could have good ratings unless it was simply based on location. I would not rent this house again.

The location amazed us. We could see the beach from a corner of sliding door. Just a short walk to beach. The house was spacious & was well stocked as far as kitchen

Wonderful cottage in charming Manzanita
