Why Bill Parsons chose Woody Creek
Riverhouse exceeds our needs by allowing room for everyone to have their own space with ample outdoor spaces for children/grandchildren to play in safety. Easy access to world-class fishing on site and other summer watersports. We especially enjoy being in a more relaxed setting while having easy access to all the wonters of the Roaring Fork Valley with skiing, hiking, cycling, etc. only minutes away.

Great property/perfect for large ski groups
We stayed at the Aspen Riverhouse for 6 days (March 4 -10th, 2018) and had a great time. Our group consisted of 5 older adults and 5 college age adults. The house had ample room/never felt crowded. The view out the back is incredible with the river only steps away at the bottom of a small hill at the back of the property (could actually hear the river flow while we slept which is always nice). The owner has a fire pit set up along the flat area on the bank of the river with around 12 chairs which was great (seeing bald eagles flying along the river was a special treat). The location is great as it is easy to get there from the airport and only about 6 miles or so to both Snowmass and Aspen. We also made frequent use of the pool table which (unlike many rentals I have been to) is actually high quality. We actually ate in a fair amount and the kitchen/dining area worked well for us. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a reasonably priced home able to accommodate large groups.
Lovely home in a perfect setting!
We had a great time at the Riverhouse! It has tons of room and is in a perfect location on the Roaring Fork River. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was well appointed with everything we needed, and more! The owners were very helpful with good advice for making the trip easy and memorable. We hope to return to this special place!
Beautiful and convenient spot on the Roaring Fork
My family had a wonderful stay at the River House. It is a beautiful spot, amazing to sleep to the sound of the river. Responsive landlord, and convenient location - 10-15 minute drive to Aspen, 10 minute drive to Snowmass, 20 minutes to Basalt, an RFTA stop and near a bunch of awesome trails. Affordable and highly recommended.
Large home close to everything in Aspen
We loved the location on the river. Had privacy but only a short drive to town, airport or ski resorts. Plenty of room in the house to stretch out.
We had a travel related problem and the owner could not have been more helpful! The owner's help was very appreciated. Would definitely consider same location the next time we travel to Aspen.
Thank you Kevin,
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and that we could accommodate your weather related delay. I know you had good skiing. We look forward to your return and hope you will try our spectacular non-winter months by the river. The fishing is great!

Wonderful Anniversary vacation with our family and friends!!
We were so pleased with this amazing house by Aspen. It was so much more then we imagined. We had 11 of us celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary. Plenty of room for everyone! Loved the views, balcony and especially the path down to the river. We spent a lot of time down there as well as in the screened cabin by the river. Every morning as our guests awakened, we all met on the balcony. The views of the mountains were amazing! The sounds of the river flowing were so relaxing. We will definitely be back! We did not want to leave. It's also in a great location! Thank you Bill and Terri! You have an amazing house!
Fantastic trip, comfy house!
We really enjoyed our stay at Bill & Terri's River House. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, and it was very well-equipped for all ages and activities. Bill was great to work with - responsive when booking and with follow-up questions. The visitor guide that he provided was very helpful, and made us all want to come back in the summer to bike, hike, fish and enjoy the screen house! All of the ski hills were close by (we went to all but Buttermilk), and we went into town a handful of times to eat, browse, and shop. Dinner at Woody Creek Tavern was fun, and we also enjoyed swimming/hot tubbing at the Snowmass Rec Center. Thanks for sharing your home - we hope to be back!
