Beautiful cabin, we loved staying at this property!

We enjoyed our weekend away so much here! The cabin itself was gorgeous, the layout for our families worked great, everything was extremely clean and newly updated. The large backyard was amazing for all of our kids to be able to go back and play in the snow and not have to leave the cabin to so. Wood burning fireplace was great, shovels and sleds provided in the garage. They provided towels in each room and even included dish soap, paper towels and lots of garbage bags under the kitchen sink. Thank you for an amazing weekend Lisa & Jerry!

Great, comfortable and clean.

Came up with family and enjoyed this great place. Super clean, comfortable and well setup with everything we needed to make meals and relax. The front porch was a great place to hang out and enjoy a beer after hiking or mtn biking. Kids loved the backyard with waterfall. We enjoyed a couple dinners outback and took advantage of the grill. Bedrooms were comfortable and the extra bunk space and loft area were awesome for the kids. Made for a great long weekend. Thanks for making it available

Great Cabin!!

Such a beautiful home!! We absolutely loved our stay at this Tahoe Paradise retreat. Everything needed was provided and Jerry and Lisa gave all the needed information to get connected/comfy in their cabin. Super close to everything, including the lake! The kids were really excited about the loft and accessible snow in the backyard. There was also a little mini hill of snow they were sliding on. Before we left we were already looking up other dates to rebook this property. Would definitely recommend this property.

Property was clean and spacious.

The cabin is close to the down town area. The view is great from the front. The back yard was great to in joy some BBQ. The only issue was we could figure out how to work the a/c and the garbage cans where all ready full when we got there. But it was a great stay over all.

BEST OWNERS EVER

Cabin was just as described. Extremely clean when we arrived and the drive way was plowed with 6 plus feet of snow on the ground. When there was no propane tank for the barbeque I called the owners and he explained renters last year caught his cabin on fire because they tried BBQ to close to the cabin. We wanted to dig the BBQ for dinner and he insisted that if we wanted to go threw the work, he would pay for me to run into town and buy a propane tank. Very great service. Upon leaving we notice some lights had stopped working and electrical plugs didn't work. I emailed the owners and 5 minutes later our cabin phone was ringing and it was the owners. They told us where the electrical panel was located outside for us to try and fix the problem. We were able to. Also they asked how much it snow and because we had received 16+ inches overnight they offered for us to stay later if we needed to. Overall I cant thank the owners enough for how helpful they were. I would definitely recommend this cabin and owners to anyone looking for a great stay in Tahoe!

Beautiful spacious house

I took my family (husband, and two small kids) and my parents to Lisa and Jerry's house for a lovely weekend in tahoe. This was a much bigger house than we needed, but it was very nice! We loved all of the thoughtful details, especially the toddler beds and games for kids. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/utensils and the place was beautifully furnished. Thanks again!

Lovely snowy Tahoe visit

The retreat is more than the photos show. We were not disappointed. The amenities are lovely, the view marvelous and watching the snow fall while enjoying a cozy fire is what makes a memorable time away. The children enjoyed playing in the snow while the adults stayed warm and watched through the living room windows from inside. The owners were very courteous and assisted with our questions and concerns.

I like the design and all rooms of your house. The kids enjoy the loft area a lot. The only thing is we cannot find sugar, cooking oil, and laundry detergent in this house (the other vacation house we stayed normally provide these).

South Lake Tahoe Family Vacation

This South Lake Tahoe Charmer, just 10 minutes from all the beaches and action, is a perfect location for a family get-a-way. Far enough from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to attractions, beaches, groceries and retail locations. In my opinion the house was perfectly decorated, very cabin like, but not over the top. My family, which included my 2 adult daughters, son-in-law, my father 76 and my 2 year old grandson had plenty of sleeping space. We cooked all but two family meals at the house and even grilled in the back yard and played yard games. The backyard is safe and completely fenced in for small children to run around. The kitchen is stocked with all the amenities that you could ever want. The living area is completely stocked with DVD's and plenty of movies and shows to watch that have been recorded on Dish Network . Even the PBS cartoon my grandson watches. I can't say enough about Lisa and Jerry, what an amazing couple! They always responded quickly, from my first inquiry to my last email regarding deposit return. They answered every single question and then some with information about the house and the surrounding area. If you are looking for a great family home to rent during your South Lake Tahoe stay, take my recommendation, this is the place! I will definitely return on my next visit.

Wonderful Cabin - a perfect getaway!

We love this cabin! We had the opportunity to stay at the cabin a few times. The rooms are spacious, very clean and well maintained. The living room has a beautiful, big fireplace to gather around for playing some board games. The kitchen is very well equipped with pot/pans/bakeware/silverware and plenty of dishes. There is a beautiful backyard for kids to run around. The house is located at a very convenient location as grocery store, ski resort,restaurants are very accessible. Great place to stay with friends and family. We would highly recommend this cabin.

A great cabin in a nice location about 10 minutes from state line. The cabin was clean and updated. It is in a nice neighborhood with friendly people. We took our family on a couple of walks that were low intensity. I would recommend this cabin.

Great spot

My family and I enjoyed staying here for 4th of July weekend. Felt secluded from the chaos of 4th of July but just a short drive away. Beautiful back yard and front porch. Much more beautiful than the pictures. The extra bunks on the top floor are great for younger kids. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Place!

This cabin truly is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The interior of the home is immaculate and the exterior is one of the nicest in the area. The house is very well furnished and all linens were very nice. It would be absolutely amazing for kids with the upstairs loft, toddler bed, crib, and pack-n-play all supplied. Our kids weren't with us on this trip but we'll certainly consider this home for any future South Tahoe trips with the kids. The outside seating areas in the back yard, front porch, and all decks are great for enjoying the fresh Tahoe air as well. The back yard is amazing. In terms of renting the property, the owners were easy to get a hold of and took great care to ensure we had everything we needed. I know this review might seem a little too positive, but I honestly don't have a single gripe and can say it's one of the best (of many) VRBO properties I've rented.

Great for kids

We could not have asked for a better cabin. We have a 2 year old and 3 month old and this place was amazing. It was clean, comfortable and updated. They had a toddler bed, crib, and pack n play. The master bedroom walkin closet contains the crib and toddler bed. The other bedrooms and tv are nicely separated from the master, so the noise does not wake the babies. The loft area upstairs would be perfect for older kids that don't fall out of bed. The back yard was fenced in and nicely landscaped. My daughter absolutely adored the fountain. The tv and wifi were easy to use. The games upstairs were great. My daughter loved playing doctor (operation) and with the curious George memory game. The only thing missing was a hot tub, but was not necessary.

Our family is very adventurous and we love to travel. As California natives, Tahoe is definitely one of our favorite 'go to' places all year round. We never tire of the scenic beauty, fresh air, forest setting and mountain-style living. We have wonderful vacation memories in Tahoe with our families and hope to cherish additional memories with our children, as they grow older.

We purchased this property late last year (2013) and recently decided to turn it into a vacation rental. As owners and property managers, we sincerely want our guests to enjoy all of the pleasures and adventures Lake Tahoe has to offer. We are happy, if you are happy!
