The living room/ kitchen area is a sophisticated yet comfortable space with colorful tile and beamed ceilings. High-end furniture in earthy natural hues is accented with soft pillows; the couch pulls out to a queen size bed. A leaded stained-glass window hangs above the breakfast nook—a perfect spot for coffee and a good book. Upstairs is the full bathroom, with a kiva ladder and hooks for hanging soft, thirsty towels. The guest bedroom is my favorite room in the house because of the custom turquoise queen sized bunk beds. The bunk beds are uniquely Taos and accommodate all ages with a Tempurpedic mattress on the bottom bed. The master bedroom also boasts a Tempurpedic mattress and soft linens. The majority of the furniture was sourced locally from shops within walking distance to Casa Glorietta. In the winter, saltillo tile and wood floors with radiant heating keep our place cozy. Last, but not least, is the quaint backyard with a classic NM red brick patio equipped with a gas grill, chaise lounge, and dining set.

Well appointed, comfortable & pleasant
The condo was comfortable and very well appointed. Had we been industrious we could have prepared great meals using the well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the welcome basket and helpful information about activities in the area. The beds were comfortable and reinforced my notion that I need new pillows at home—these were great. The outside spaces are enjoyable. Neighborhood was quiet and convenient.
Clean & Close to Plaza
The condo was clean and close enough to walk to the Plaza. When we arrived, it seemed that the property had been closed for a while, so it was extremely warm and stuffy. It finally cooled off that evening after leaving doors and windows open. The mattresses are very firm and not overly comfortable. We walked back from dinner one evening, and the road and parking area were very dark. I think it would be a better place to stay with cooler weather. Overall, it was ok.
Often we do have our caretaker crack windows during the summer evenings, but due to the local forest fires we opted to keep them closed last week. I’m glad the smoke was not an issue and that the temperature was pleasant after the doors and windows where opened. All of the beds have top-of-the-line Tempurpedic brand mattresses, while they are perfect for many of our guests they are on the firm side so I’ll add a note to the property description. The lighting in our driveway and parking area will also be reviewed and we will consider adding additional solar lighting. The Town of Taos has a night sky ordinance so the road lighting takes some getting used to, but the stars are amazing so it is a tradeoff. Thanks again for the feedback, while a three star review is not what we are striving for it does help us improve.
Enjoyed the stay
We spent a few days in Taos over Spring Break. The property was great - the location was good, it was easy to find, and very comfortable for our family of four. We were able to relax here and really enjoyed the time and Taos. Thanks, Janet!!
We wouldn't stay anywhere else
This place is fantastic! Stylish, immaculate, comfortable and in a superb location. It's very close to the plaza where there are an abundance of shops and restaurants. We walked there regularly with our 6-year-old and 8-year-old.
Janet, the owner of the condo, was very responsive through email. She was quick to answer questions and made sure we had everything we needed. This was our second visit to her place and we will definitely be back!
Clean and convenient
Thank you so much for offering such a nice place for rent. This unit is clean and comfortable. All the necessities, nice beds, plenty of towels, great directions, good communication, what else do you want from a VRBO. Thank you again we had a wonderful time.
A Beautiful Territorial Home For Your Taos Visit!
We have used VRBO various times when we travel, especially to beautiful locations like Taos. This home was within maybe 6 blocks of the Plaza, allowing the opportunity to leave our car parked and walk to the many shops and restaurants there. It was located in a beautiful, quiet, and private neighborhood, and easily accessible off Kit Carson Blvd. The design of the home was enjoyable for us, with the two bedrooms and a full bath on the 2nd level, along with access to a beautiful, private patio with a grill. table, and chairs. The master bedroom has a wonderful ly comfortable queen bed and lovely balcony to sit on. The entire home is decorated with very comfortable furniture and accents that compliment each room. We especially loved all the wood floors upstairs, the sautillo tile floors on the main level, and the spanish accent tile countertops in both the kitchen and the bathrooms. Janet, the owner, was very personal and professional and easy to communicate with in helping make our stay wonderful. Thank you Janet, we enjoyed the wine and tortillo chips, too! We would highly recommend anyone planning a visit to Taos consider this beautiful territorial home. Dennis
Nestled between the Taos Plaza and Taos' El Monte Sagrado, down a quiet lane, makes this the perfect location for your next vacation. There are so many options of things to do here:explore galleries, museums, restaurants, and shops; wine tasting; world class skiing; rafting down the Rio Grande; hike to local in hot springs; or attend one of the annual festivals. Live music and art is extraordinarily common in Taos.
