About the property

Together in Taos is about as ambitious as we ever really need to be

The living room/ kitchen area is a sophisticated yet comfortable space with colorful tile and beamed ceilings. High-end furniture in earthy natural hues is accented with soft pillows; the couch pulls out to a queen size bed. A leaded stained-glass window hangs above the breakfast nook—a perfect spot for coffee and a good book. Upstairs is the full bathroom, with a kiva ladder and hooks for hanging soft, thirsty towels. The guest bedroom is my favorite room in the house because of the custom turquoise queen sized bunk beds. The bunk beds are uniquely Taos and accommodate all ages with a Tempurpedic mattress on the bottom bed. The master bedroom also boasts a Tempurpedic mattress and soft linens. The majority of the furniture was sourced locally from shops within walking distance to Casa Glorietta. In the winter, saltillo tile and wood floors with radiant heating keep our place cozy. Last, but not least, is the quaint backyard with a classic NM red brick patio equipped with a gas grill, chaise lounge, and dining set.

Perfect location. Lovely accommodations. Cool owners!

First—the location couldn’t be any better. Within easy walking distance to all of my favorite shops and restaurants, but still secluded and private. All of the coziness of being in the woods with all of the creature-comforts of the town. Great spot.

The proprietor has truly thought of everything. Immediately after booking, I received an email (with pictures!) that explained how to open the key-padded door; a potentially tricky shower situation was quelled by the presence of a well-placed sign showing me just how to turn on the shower. I appreciate this kind of attention to detail/thoughtfulness—it makes for a more relaxing vacation.

The condo is classic southwestern with a modern twist: vigas and Mexican tile with track-lighting and tempurpedic mattresses. Very comfortable. Very clean. The proprietor has gone out of her way to provide amenities that are more common at a luxury hotel than a rental home—towels for all occasions (bathing & outdoor activities) in the right places; locally sourced soaps and shampoos in hotel-sized containers intended only for you.

Many rentals have a much-too-lived-in feel, but the proprietor’s use of a maid service makes the space feel clean, inviting, and just for you. I slept better here than I do at home. Related: I will definitely buy a tempurpedic for myself after this experience. I highly recommend a stay here—just please don’t book it when I want to be here!

Charming condo within walking distance of the plaza

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time to stay in this condo. We just love it. It has everything we need, is clean and tidy, and is so close to the plaza area. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great place to stay - walking distance to the plaza

  • 4 of 5

This was a great little place to stay for the weekend. We stayed with our kids in the queen bunk beds and they are really comfortable (the bottom one was by far better). My parents stayed in the master room and had no complaints. It had everything we needed except toiletries - bummer for us when we arrived after a long drive and had to meet family for dinner that night. And my dad was very upset there was no cable. I knew because I read other reviews, but be prepared for no tv (and during March Madness- it was unacceptable to my dad). There is a Roku- but we couldn't get it working. Some instructions would be nice if guests are allowed to use it. The heating was a surprise- we didn't read that it needed 8-10 hours to heat up until the morning when it was COLD. The space heater was a savior. The place was very clean and is within walking distance of the Plaza. Overall a very nice place.

Owner's Response: Thank you for reviewing your stay and highlighting some areas for improvement. We’ve decided to start stocking the condo with hotel sized toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & bar soap) and will add directions to the Roku in our helpful tips guide. We’ll also reiterate to our caretaker that the thermostats should never be set lower than 70 degrees. We do get all the over the air channels for news, weather and college and Pro football. We will certainly update the instructions to allow the Roku to stream a wider variety of sporting events.

Great setup for skiing

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect setup for a family who had both skiers and non skiers. Easy to walk to the square if not skiing. The home easily accommodated 5 adults. We cooked many meals in and found everything we needed. This home was clean and accurately depicted and supplied. Would recommend to friends and stay again myself!

Nestled between the Taos Plaza and Taos' El Monte Sagrado, down a quiet lane, makes this the perfect location for your next vacation. There are so many options of things to do here:explore galleries, museums, restaurants, and shops; wine tasting; world class skiing; rafting down the Rio Grande; hike to local in hot springs; or attend one of the annual festivals. Live music and art is extraordinarily common in Taos.
