Pogonip features a multi-use 8 mile trail which overlooks SC Harbor and connects Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park to the upper UCSC campus. Master bedroom includes private bath, cathedral ceilings, walk-in closet, California King bed. 2 bedrooms face quarry and pond, sharing one full bath. Amenities include full kitchen, living room, laundry, wi-fi, deck, fireplace, all utilities. Quiet friendly family neighborhood in natural setting. One mile from Natural Bridges Beach, Santa Cruz Boardwalk, downtown, shopping and cafes, and Route 1 coastal road to Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur going south; San Francisco and Marin County going north.

This neighborhood just up the hill from the ocean yet close to town is one of Santa Cruz's best kept secrets; most residents are unaware of our cul-de-sac abutting several walkable, natural habitats. This means there is no traffic; we keep a low profile. The convenient location, birdwatching from the deck (red-winged black birds, hummingbirds, egrets, herons, ducks outside the door) and in several surrounding parks and ocean locations is superb. Walk out the door and enjoy 17 acres of greenery; utilize picnic tables around the pond with open space to read, play, wander without even having to get in a car. The area is protected and well-cared for and is only 5 minutes from cultural entertainment and public activity.
