We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean sunlit home in a quiet neighborhood. It was a short pleasant walk to the beach. There were plenty of shopping and restaurant options nearby. The owner was very responsive and the furniture quite comfortable. We highly recommend this great find!

We had a wonderful trip and loved staying here! Great location, we biked and walked everywhere! The beach, boardwalk, and restaurants are all so close and the house is on a quiet street. I would definitely recommend staying here, thank you Chris!

This is a very clean house 3 short blocks from Seabright beach in Santa Cruz.There is a nice little driveway to park your can and a one car garage with bikes, wetsuits, bodyboards, skateboard and a corn hole game. The back yard is small but big enough to play corn hole. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off after the beach which has hot water. Inside, the three bedrooms are downstairs with a large bathroom and laundry area. Everything worked well and the water pressure was strong. Upstairs there is a large living area with very comfortable sofa and chairs. The TV in that room was a projector which we connected our computer to. The main TV was in a den off the kitchen, which had a long couch with a trestle bed underneath. Behind the den was another fill bathroom with shower. The kitchen was nice with all we needed to cook a few dinners. There was a gas grill on a small deck outside. The house had a Nespresso machine for coffee and pods in the closet. The property is close enough to the Beach Boardwalk that you can hear the people on the Giant Dipper. We took easy walks to the pier, boardwalk, and marina. Safeway and Farrells are 10 minutes drive. Trader Joes, a little closer. If you want to go to UCSC it's about 15-20 minutes. Overall, we had a comfortable stay here and would definitely come back.

Extended beach getaway

Chris’ beach house was just what we needed. 5 stars all around. The home was clean and quite spacious. Chris’ house is literally two blocks from the beach. It is closer than it looked on the map. You can hear the waves crashing against the beach at night. Hardwood on the second floor where the kitchen and living/family room/dining area add to the clean look. One car garage with tandem bike and two regular bikes, a skateboard, a couple wetsuits. Chris has really thought of everything. The location is hard to beat. The Boardwalk is a short walk (less than 10 minutes. The Seabright shopping/dining district is 4-5 minute walk away. Java City for bagels, coffee, and smoothies. Two Italian restaurants, a brunch place, Betty’s Burgers, a deli, a couple bars, all right there. Chris was a great host: responsive, communicative. Check-in was easy.

Excellent location near beach and boardwalk, with very well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Bathrooms, laundry, and kitchen were clean and generously supplied with essentials. There was a good conversation area (living room) where we (children ages 4 & 5, parents and grandmother) could visit with siblings and cousins who live near Santa Cruz. Even the decor was clever and unique. Highly recommended--our family had a wonderful time!
