We are the closest rental available within walking distance to the Desert Ridge Marketplace, which contains over 100 shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. It is Phoenix's premiere Shopping & Entertainment Center. Also at Desert Ridge is a full size grocery store and gas station, along with everyone's favorite burger stand, In-N-Out!

About Erik Carpenter
My wife and I are a transnational couple (American & Canadian). Work has taken us to Los Angeles, however, we consistently travel back to AZ, where I grew up, for a relaxing break to visit family and enjoy everything Phoenix and Arizona has to offer.

We chose this property for two reasons: the location and the backyard! The Desert Ridge area is the perfect place to be located in order to experience everything Phoenix and Scottsdale have to offer. After a busy day around town, there is nothing better than coming home to BBQ in the backyard while swimming in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub.
What makes this House unique
The home has a simplistic style and layout which is comforting and relaxing. It is the perfect size home with an amazing backyard for entertaining and gathering with friends and family.

Great house and location
The pictures of the property we reviewed before renting didn't look real - THEY WERE! The house was perfect for us with a lot of privacy. The TV's had all the channels and the place was stocked with all the supplies we needed. We followed the lead of previous renters and left some items for the next guests. We swam and used the hot tub every day - the water was perfect. Everything was comfortable inside and out. The Desert Ridge location with multiple restaurants and stores was great and being close to the 101 allowed us quick access to many Phoenix area locations. We have rented in the Phoenix area for the past four years during March and April and Casa de Abraham was by far our favorite spot.
Favourite Scottsdale resort!
This is our fourth or fifth time to rent Erik and Kirsten’s lovely home. (March 2018). As usual, the house was spotless, bedding and linens superior, and backyard a paradise! Perfect location, close to 101 and walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, and movies at Desert Ridge Marketplace. Erik is so receptive and helpful when needed. Kitchen is well stocked! We plan to continue renting as long as they will let us. Thanks again! Debbie and Ken Ringaert

Comfort of home in a resort setting
Attention to detail was second to none. Our family had everything we could have asked for or thought of. The pool and hot tub made for a relaxing time while we were in Phoenix for a family wedding. Beds, pillows, linens and living room furniture were all comfy and cozy.
Parking in a garage and driveway in a safe a quiet neighborhood gave us a nice sense of security. We were within a 1/4 mike of Desert Ridge Marketplace which has grocery, retail, liquor, nail and hair salons and just about any kind of restaurant you would need. Only 1/2 mile from the 101 Loop with efficient access to any location in the area.
We would love to return to Casa de Abraham on our future visits to the Phoenix area.
Fantastic, even better than advertised!
Casa de Abraham is in a great location, with lots of restaurants and lounges within walking distance. Home was very clean and has everything you need. Very quiet neighbourhood overall and felt safe. The pool was amazing and hot tub was great too. Erik is excellent to deal with and I look forward to returning annually. The app is very useful too...
I would stay hereagain
This house could possibly be the most conveniently located house in all of Phoenix!
Case de Abraham is within walking distance to Desert Ridge Marketplace, Arizona's premiere shopping and entertainment destination with over 110 retailers and restaurants. With a high energy, outdoor setting, The Marketplace has everything you need from shopping to movie theaters to outdoor fireplaces and even a splash pad for the kids on the hot summer days.
Just down the street from Desert Ridge is a high end retail area with more shopping and restaurants called City North.
Less than a mile away is the junction between the Loop 101 Freeway and AZ-51, the main arteries to all of Phoenix and Scottsdale's must see destinations.
Just 10 minutes or less to the east is the TPC of Scottsdale (home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament), the Barrett Jackson Car Auction, WestWorld Equestrian Center, the Mayo Clinic, the Scottsdale Airport, and numerous golf courses. A little further into the heart of Scottsdale takes you to the Talking Stick Resort & Casino (featuring the brand new Odysea Aquarium, Buttterfly Exhibit, and Topgolf!), Salt River Fields (home to the Arizona Diamondbacks & Colorado Rockies Spring Training), and Old Town Scottsdale.
Heading west on the 101 will take you to University of Phoenix Stadium (home of the Cardinals, two Super Bowls, the Fiesta Bowl, and the 2017 Final Four), Glendale Arena (home to the Arizona Coyotes Hockey team & many concerts), Water World water park, countless other Spring Training venues, and even more spectacular golf courses around Phoenix.
Heading north up Tatum Blvd. will take you to the quaint towns of Cave Creek & Carefree, both popular tourist destinations with terrific art scenes as well as delicious restaurants and western style watering holes.
Twenty minutes south on the 51 heads into downtown Phoenix, home of Chase Field and the Arizona Diamondbacks, the US Airways Center which houses the Phoenix Suns and several large music concerts each year, and the Arizona Science Center. Also downtown is Sky Harbor International Airport, one of the easiest, most convenient airports in the country. Other attractions in Phoenix include the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens, hiking at Piestawa Peak and Camelback Mountain, and even more fabulous golf courses spread throughout the city.
For the day trippers out there, Lake Pleasant and Bartlett Lake are both only 45 minutes away, and offer plenty of water and fishing fun. Sedona, home to the red rocks, Slide Rock State Park, and Oak Creek Canyon is only a 2 hour drive north. Fifteen minutes past that is Flagstaff, home to all of your outdoor alpine adventures.
