About Diana Heavener-Robertson

Heavener Hill is located at 6362 142nd Avenue Holland MI 49423. Heavener Hill was brought to the public in 2013 but was brought to life many years ago. My name is Diana Heavener-Robertson. I am a lifetime resident of the area. In fact, Heavener Hill is my childhood home. Approximately 125 years ago Heavener Hill was the home of Swedish immigrants that started a turkey farm. When those immigrants pass away, their son sold the property in 1968 to Dennis and Jan Heavener, my parents. My childhood, many family and friends gatherings, and great memories were all part of this property. I married my husband Kent Robertson in 2002. Our first son Eli was born in 2005 and our second son Aden was born in 2007. My mother, Jan, passed in 2005 and my father, Dennis, in 2013. I just could not see selling this home and beautiful property. I wanted to see other families to be able to make great memories here also. With the help of my uncle, husband, and sons, we bring to you Heavener Hill.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Enjoyed our time with family here on the Hill. I went for runs every day. There are great roads and trail for runs! We love the property and taking walks. There are many family oriented places with easy drives from here. I hope we can return soon.

Beautiful place!

  • 5 of 5

As we drove up to the property, we were loving the big yard surrounded by woods. We also had to read the book prepared for us by Diana to figure out what the patch of poles and strings were all about. They grow hops! The house is much nicer than the pictures led us to believe. It was pristine and very well supplied with everything we needed and then some. The beds were very comfy with fresh linens. There's a lot of room if you have a large group. This is a beautiful place, and the homemade chocolate chip cookies and free-range eggs that you are welcomed with are the epitome of hospitality. Loved it and I'm telling everyone I know about it. It should be even better next year as they are adding a full basement!

Thanks so much Diana, we loved our stay!

just what we were looking for!

  • 5 of 5

Diana was so kind and helpful to work with. Our reservation was made just the day before our arrival, and she was so accommodating in making it happen! We loved the quiet setting and plenty of room to hang out together on the porch. The enclosed back porch was also nice. The sunset at Lakeside Beach was breath-taking! And the free range eggs and cookies were a nice gesture! Would love to stay longer next time!

Relaxing Vacation Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Great family vacation. Everything is here for your home away from home. Very clean and well stocked. The property is peaceful with nice sitting areas and a place to gather around a campfire. Several Lake Michigan beaches close by. A Disk Golf course only 3 1/2 miles away. Cute shops and local attractions. There is a wonderful biking/walking path within a half mile of the house that leads to Holland or Saugatuck. Diana welcomed us with a bowl of eggs from her chickens and a plate of delicious cookies. We will be back.

Great Property for Families

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for several days with my sister and her family and loved our time here. The home was clean, well maintained, and spacious. Several outdoor areas to sit and relax including a nice fire pit. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms had an air conditioner to cool rooms during Summer months. Great location near Holland and local beaches, only about a mile from the Laketown park at Lake Michigan with large dunes. Diana was great to work with and was super helpful in answering all our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Tranquil, Charming House with Huge Yard - Perfect for Children

  • 5 of 5

My family including our twin toddlers had such a fabulous time at Heavener Hill. The house was large and very clean. Diana was wonderful to work with and had fresh farm eggs and a plate full of cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. Our absolute favorite feature of the property was the enormous yard, deck, and porch swing. We live in the city of Chicago, so our toddlers were ecstatic to be able to run all over and at will. We hope to return next summer. It is a lovely place!

Super Clean!

  • 5 of 5

We were super impressed with how clean the entire house was! Our group had 4 adults, a 3 year old and a 1 year old who crawls everywhere. The kids loved playing on the carpet and sleeping in the bunk beds. The land/yard had beautiful trees and we even saw deer one morning. It was perfect for a weekend getaway to see the fall colors, walk around Holland and Saugatuck and to visit the sand dunes. Diana also allowed us to check in early and stay a little later than checkout time. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Diana, your house was beautiful!
