This is our second time staying at this property. Both times we have stayed have been excellent. The house is nice and clean - close to town - and the host is great with communication and makes us feel welcome as guests.
This was our annual spring break trip and our first time staying here. The place was exactly as described, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our dogs loved the backyard and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook. The coffee pot is not a keurig so we purchased ground coffee at the store. Will definitely stay here again! The whole experience was easy from start to finish.
What a lovely, quiet location within walking distance (aprox 10 minutes at kiddo speed) to downtown Saugatuck! The place is lovely and was larger than expected with a modern kitchen. Loved sitting on the screened in porch in the evenings!
Very clean, has everything you need, even extra paper towel, toilet paper, zip bags! This place was well equipped, nice yard for the little dogs and just a short walk to down town Saugatuck. Will stay again!
This cottage is even bigger and nicer than it looks in the pictures. We really enjoyed the spacious, fully equipped kitchen and the lovely screened-in back porch. The street is quiet and it's an easy walk to town.
This was our 3rd stay at Starry nights cottage, and the cleaniness and supplies were superb as usual. Love the updated shower this trip, plus the addition of the king bed. The location and screened porch are favorite features for us also.
Beautiful property, close enough to walk to downtown. We really enjoyed the screened porch. The front door lock was a bit temperamental and tricky to figure out but we got it eventually.
Great location- Quiet street and only a 10 minute walk via sidewalks to town/ shopping district.
Very spacious house and fenced in yard- Our golden retriever couldn’t have been happier!
Perfect and thoughtful hosts- the house has everything you will need including towels by the door for wet dog feet in the event of rain!
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Saugatuck!

Great place.
I would recommend Starry Night Cottage to anyone wanting a cute clean place to stay. We walked to town a few times and drove on the day it was really hot. We played yard games, barbecued and sat in the screened in porch alot! We would definitely go back in a minute, enjoyed our time there!

Great Saugatuck Rental
The house is cute, comfortable, well maintained and very very clean. The house is very spacious. Would love to come back in warmer weather to experience the back porch. Easy walk and quick drive to town. Excellent communications from the owners. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I had a wonderful time using the house for a wedding weekend. Clean, spacious, cute, and very close to downtown. Checkin and checkout processes were seamless with great communication from the host. Would love to come again and bring my fur baby next time as it is dog friendly :) thanks for a beautiful weekend!!
We loved our stay at Starry Night Cottage!
It was great to be able to walk to downtown Saugatuck to see the shops, visit coffee shops and try out the many restaurants!
The hosts provided everything you would need!
Including a notebook with restaurant menus & phone numbers!
The place actually looks bigger than the pictures show. Perfect size for us,
our 2 children, their spouses and 2 grandchildren.
It was so much fun to hang out on the screened in porch & see all the wildlife around!
Thanks Tracy & Tim for sharing your place with us!
My husband and I have been visiting S.W. Michigan every year on our anniversary week for the past 8 years. This rental ranks up there with the very best. Enjoyed the wine on our anniversary. The weather even cooperated.
The ONLY thing I can complain about were the couches. I think it might have been our ages and old backs, but the couches were not comfortable. The beds made up for it though! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you so much for allowing our pets. They really enjoyed themselves too!
My family stayed in the starry night cottage for a wedding in Saugatuck this past weekend. We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage is much bigger than what the pictures imply. My favorite part was relaxing in the screened-in porch and seeing all the monarch butterflies flying around in the backyard full of beautiful wild flowers. It was in a very cute neighborhood right down the road from downtown Saugatuck. We plan on coming back next year! P.S. there is now a king bed in one of the rooms.

Beautiful home - great location for exploring Saugatuck AND Douglas!
We enjoyed exploring Saugatuck and Douglas from the Starry Night Cottage. Home was located close to the local grocery store in Douglas and well equipped for those who like to cook (like me). Ample parking. We enjoyed nightly walks to downtown Saugatuck for sightseeing and shopping (Good Goods - do not miss!). The art galleries in the area, especially in Douglas, were amazing. Really high quality fine art. We spent time at Oval Beach, which didn't quite live up to the hype, and Holland State Park (windy day=awesome waves). Owners were very easy to work with.
This is our second time staying here. Tracey is a great host! Check in instructions were very clear & easy. The space is even better than the pictures. It’s a nice big open floor plan. They also recently painted, updated one of the bathrooms and added a king size bed in the middle bedroom. The couches are comfy and so are the beds. The yard and screened in porch are great. The location is so close to coffee & restaurants and shops but away enough to relax in the peace and quiet. We were on the go too much to cook our own meals but everything you would need is there. The little touches are are so sweet, like a welcome sign and a bottle of local wine. Tracey is very responsive and accommodating. I will definitely check availability for this cottage any time we are back in town.
This was our first time in Saugatuck and we had a fantastic time! There were three of us, so we each had our own bedroom. Having two full baths was a luxury :) The house was spotless and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the area. It's in a super quiet, lush neighborhood. Tracey responded to our inquiries very quickly. We loved the screened in porch, unfortunately it was a bit cool the first couple of days. But we enjoyed it when we could. We walked down to The Southerner for dinner our first night....delicious! It's a short drive to downtown, we would have walked if it was warmer. Fenn Valley winery and Virtue Cider were a 15 minute drive away. We would definitely stay at this house again, and recommend it highly!
