**This cabin is located in the Town of Grand Lake, NOT Estes Park**

Tucked away on a spacious semi-private lot, this inviting 3-bedroom, 2-bath home offers the peace and solitude of the mountains without sacrificing convenience. Just a short drive from the heart of Grand Lake and under ten minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park, this home is the perfect base for your Colorado adventure. Bring your pup along too—this cozy retreat is pet-friendly!

The main floor features a comfortable, open layout with two bedrooms. The primary suite includes a king bed and private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the second bedroom is furnished with a cozy queen bed. Downstairs, a large private lower level offers two queen beds and ample room to spread out, relax, or enjoy a movie night with the home’s extensive DVD library. Furnished with warm, thoughtful details, this home is designed to make you feel right at home.

Step outside to find two covered decks where you can soak in the stunning views of the Never Summer Mountains, grill your favorite meal, and enjoy the calm of the surrounding forest. A hiking trail begins right in the backyard, offering adventure literally at your doorstep. With Wi-Fi, peaceful surroundings, and close proximity to shopping, dining, and outdoor attractions, this mountain retreat delivers the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility.

*This home does have some views of the burn scar from the East Troublesome Fire in October 2020. The view from the front of the home was not impacted*

Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

Rustic retreat

This home is rustic and our time there was restful. It’s close to all the lakes and to the heart of Grand Lake. This house is nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable and we enjoyed spending time in the mountains.

Did some hiking, eat at Sagebrush bbq and grill. Great food. Went to rodeo in Granby. Enjoyed renting a pontoon on Grand lake. Had a great time going to the Rookies.

Beautiful location with amazing views.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property as the location was perfect. The mountain views were so calming and the water body nearby ensured that we could see plenty of wildlife. The property was very close to restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Do not miss watching a sunset at the Grand Lake marina. It was definitely one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.

Relaxing nountain views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin and especially enjoyed sharing our coffee on the deck each morning, watching the sunrise on the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful yet close to town. Love all the stores in Grand Lake and spent two days enjoying the water. Be sure to take the boat tour! Loved eating breakfast outside each day at Sagebrush. Great food with friendly service!

This cabin was very clean and very beautiful. The views were absolutely gorgeous and there were moose tracks everywhere. One morning we woke up, there was a moose out in the clearing. The rental company is also wonderful. Our power went out and they were very helpful and timely. New favorite spot to vacation for sure!

Grand Lake rental

Excellent shape home with views we will never forget. Everything we needed was there and working properly. Location to Grand Lake was so convenient. Fun hike to the Colorado River from this home. Lots of hummingbirds and chipmunks to entertain us. Great decks to sit on and visit or just soak up the mountain view and silence. Memories are made here.

Rocky Mt. Getaway

Property met all needs. We enjoyed the wrap around decks with mt. views( despite the burn areas) and the proximity to town was great yet still remote enough for a Moose visit right on the property. The kids were thrilled when it showed up. Only wish there was a trash dumpster on site.

Simple, well kept cabin in beautiful Grand Lake

Property is in a nice, quiet area close to town and with abundant views of nature. The house itself is clean and well kept but also very simple and no frills. Heating worked well despite it being close to 0 degrees F at night. Our one annoyance was needing to haul our own trash back into town (dumpster behind the rental company) including at the end of our stay, despite paying a cleaning fee. Grand Lake is a scenic mountain town that we would recommend to others.

This home is on the edge of the burn of the East Troublesome Fire, making for some spectacular contrasting views. The home was built in the 70's, is showing its age and lacks many of the amenities expected in a short-term rental. However it was adequate for our needs for the long weekend.

Awesome Location with beautiful views

loved the location and proximity to hiking and biking trails. Quiet neighborhood. The large TV and couches in the living room were really nice. The house needs some updating, the bathrooms and showers are small/cramped(especially the master). The lighting in the kitchen needs to be updated. The house did have all the basics, but would have been nice to start with more toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and garbage bags, just things that are nice to be included. Overall, a nice trip, and a reasonable price.

We went snowmobiling for 2 days (On The Trail Rental-highly recommend!) and spent the rest of the time enjoying the view, cooking meals at home, playing cards and games and watching some playoff football games. Lovely, homey, relaxing, and comfortable. Hopefully we can do this again with our adult children.

Better cleaning needed

Overall, the property was in good shape, however, cleaning could have been better. The hardwood floors were dirty/sticky and there were many cobwebs hanging around, especially on the living room ceiling. The house had adequate provisions in the kitchen and plenty of bath towels. The property is just a short drive to Grand Lake and has decent hiking trails just a stone's throw away.

Clean mountain property

Communications and response were good. Had a wifi issue that was resolved teh same day. The only thing i would recommend for this property is a more organized kitchen. I would have brought more things (like a wisp, or hand mixer, etc). The bedrooms were very comfortable and the patios are nice. The couches and chairs are dated and not much for cushion left, but we enjoyed the property and the location was awesome
