Cozy Lakefront Home on Lamoka With Dock Access, Front Deck & Fire-pit!

Bedrooms 3
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

3 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom On The Lake With Views Of Red Bank Island

If you're looking for the perfect lake-side get-away for your family or friends, look no further! The Lamoka Lake House is located on the tip of Lamoka Lake across from Red Bank Island. We provide the perfect escape from the everyday grind. With 190 feet of lake-front, our dock not only gives you access to a beautiful mud-bottom lake for swimming, paddling and relaxing, but you can also use our provided rowboat or canoe for some of the region's best bass fishing!

Need a break from the water? Relax on our wrap-around deck in comfy adirondack chairs. A fire-pit also provides a peaceful location for you and your family to gather together to end the day.

As soon as you pull into the 2-car driveway, you receive an unobstructed view of the lake which provides a backdrop to gorgeous sunsets each evening. With minimal vehicle and boat traffic, this rental and lake are ideal for families or anyone looking for some tranquility.

The quaint cottage is economically priced, since everyone deserves a place to relax. Three bedrooms and one bathroom surround the house's common living space. The three piece bathroom has a stand-up shower with a bench seat. The kitchenette with dinette area is fully stocked with enough dishes, utensils and cookware for a full-house. You'll find an electric range, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, as well as a gas-grill for outdoor cooking. The living area also has a futon (which can provide extra sleeping if needed at night). In the common area there's a flat screen, mounted television with a provided DVD player and cable access. We also provide wireless internet for all of our guests' convenience.

All three bedrooms are equipped with a dresser for any storage needs, as well as air conditioning for those hot summer nights! The house comfortably sleeps 6 adults with 2 full and 1 queen sized bed (comforters and pillows provided -- you'll need to pack your own linens).

Quiet cottage

  • 4 of 5

The property was as it was listed minus the Adirondack Chairs , quiet, clean, and relaxing. My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The fish really didn't bite, he only had one, but being by the water and building fires at night was the intent of the vacation.

Wonderfully cozy, relaxing and had everything we needed

  • 5 of 5

I couldn't say better things about our stay at the Lamoka Lake house this past weekend. My fiancé, me, and our Husky pup Luna stayed for 3 nights at this cottage over a brisk fall weekend. Booking the trip was a breeze, and it was last minute for us so the ease made everything all the better. Checking in was also very easy and clear which was great for us since we had just been sitting in the car for 5 hours. The area has lots to do and we were never bored. The internet speed was great too which made relaxing at night great for movies, surfing, working - whatever you need to do. Be warned - cell phone service with Verizon is generally not great in this area so having the WIFI made finding our way and things to do much easier. The neighbors were quite friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. One of the nights got quite chilly - down to 35 degrees or so - the cottage came with 3 space heaters but all we needed we two. Those warmed the house right up and we were quite comfy. I highly recommend staying at this adorable cottage - it seems to be a lot of fun at all times of the year. If it was this fun in the fall, I can only image how great it would be in the summer. Thanks for the great stay and I'm sure we'll see ya sometime next summer.

Charming Lakehouse

  • 5 of 5

We were 4 adults, 2 infants, and 1 small dog. The setting is cozy to say the least. The owner Blake was very prompt answering our questions about the property, and the host/neighbor Brian was great in helping us settle in. I had some tranquil moments just chilling on the dock looking at the lake. The kitchen is well-stocked with pretty much everything we needed other than perhaps a kettle. Counter space in the kitchen was a bit limited but we worked with it just fine. One small complaint/suggestion I have is that in one of the bedrooms the nail heads on the floor were sticking out of the carpet a bit which can be prickly to walk on without slippers and probably needs to be smoothed out. Otherwise I highly recommend the stay.

Location, location, location

Wonderful views of Lake Lamoka. Close to Watkins Glen and Lake Seneca wineries, and Hammondsport and Lake Keuka wineries. Nice use of firepit, grill and boats. Standard accommodation but bedrooms could use new bedding (especially back bedroom). All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing long weekend.
