Treetop Pastoral Views, Beach Access, Beautiful Light in Converted Barn Apt.

Permit #00PROV102 -The Barn Loft is a located on the second story of a converted barn. Its comfortable living room includes vaulted, beamed ceilings, hardwood floors and lots of windows. There is a a wood stove on a brick hearth. The living room is nicely furnished in a traditional style.

There is TV, a DVD player, and free wireless internet. There is a full kitchen with electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and full size refrigerator.

The light and airy bedroom has a queen sized bed, dresser and his & hers closets. In addition, there is a daybed and a single pull-out mattress in the living area. The bedroom and living area are separated by a library/desk nook. There is a full bath with tub/shower.

The Barn Loft has a lovely pastoral view looking out over a lawn and treetops. It is within walking distance of our private beach down a hillside path. The Loft will accommodate couples or a small family. Maximum occupancy is three people.

We are a legally permitted local business. Permit # 00PROV102.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This was a beautiful little apartment. Very clean and decorated nicely. Was the perfect spot for me to have my home base as I was out all day visiting with family. Great place to come to for the week!

End of summer trip

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful property. Very comfortable bed. They provided lots of towels and extra linens. It was nice to be out of town just a bit, but still close to some Orcas gems. Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you!

Beautiful, Quiet Barn Loft

Such a lovely place to stay on Orcas! A beautiful location and cozy barn loft. We liked the touches of vintage decor. Liz and Herman were so helpful and great to work with! Would definitely stay again!

What a warm cozy getaway

I went on a dream of a vacation to the Orcas to meet up with my long time pen pal from Holland. I chose this rental as it seemed very peaceful, quiet and had a private beach to sit and chat away without any interruptions. Well, this place was all that and so much more. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in and every detail of the furnishings made me feel so at home. The only thing I would add it that there are about 16 steps up to the loft, which people should know, but once you are in, its well worth the trip!! Also the owner Betsy is lovely!!

Stellar stay!

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved staying at the Barn Loft for the weekend. It had everything we needed, included daily views of deer on the lawn. The walk to the beach is easy and the views are stunning. Very accessible to the center of town, but removed enough that you feel like you're in nature. I would absolutely recommend staying here and plan to come back soon!

We’re lucky to wake up every day in such a beautiful place. It's a joy to see how much our guests love it here, too.

Why they chose this property

Olga is a quiet & peaceful end of the island. Eastsound, the main town, is still easily accessible by car, and we have several excellent seasonal restaurants at this end of Orcas. At the same time, we are tucked away from the hustle & bustle, surrounded by trees and water.

There's no better place on Orcas to watch the sun rise over Mt. Baker than down the hill at our private beach.

What makes this property unique

We offer several other vacation home rentals just a few minutes walk down the road. This can be convenient for extended family reunions or other larger groups (so long as the quiet hours & no parties rule is respected).
