The private gated resort community of 'Summit View' affords a safe and quiet locale, yet it’s easy to find and conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg near the area’s most popular attractions, such as Gatlinburg’s historic Arts & Crafts district and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. The cabin has mountain views and a cozy, Appalachian cabin feel from the moment you walk in.

About Tucker

I'm pleased that you're considering our Appalachian Mountain home mountain for your vacation or romantic getaway. The lodge is located in an exclusive gated resort community, offering you privacy, security, and peace of mind. It is surrounded by majestic mountains and has views of the Great Smokies, meadows, forest, and streams. The private back deck offers big skies by day and romantic moon-lit star gazing by night. It's our hope that our cabin exceeds all your wildest expectations and that you return year after year to enjoy our beautiful home.

According to the National Park Service, the bear population in the park is over 1600 bears and growing, along with deer, elk, turkey, groundhogs, wolves and many other small forest animals making the park their home. The fall leaf color displays start in mid-September in the elevations higher than 4000 feet (Mt. LeConte, Mt. Guyot, Clingmans Dome, Newfound Gap and along the Appalachian Trail) in the Park and surrounding Smokies, reaching their peak from October 1-15. In the lower elevations of about 1000 feet (Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg) peak color is usually seen October 15- November 7. Some suggested drives to enjoy the colors are Little River and Laurel Creek Roads between Sugarlands Visitors Center and Cades Cove. Keep in mind that traffic on Newfound Gap Road and Cades Cove Loop Roads are very heavy during leaf season, especially late in the day. So get up early and enjoy—then go for pancakes! or pack a picnic lunch.

Why Tucker chose East

FAQ -- Q&A

- Where is Adohi Lodge located?

Adohi Lodge is located between Gatlinburg’s historic Arts & Crafts district and Dollywood. The lodge is almost equidistant from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg (6 miles) and the attractions of Pigeon Forge (5 miles). You can travel to both places without having to get on the Parkway, which will keep you from getting stuck in traffic! We are also only 10 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park.

- Are the pictures of Adohi Lodge accurate?

What you see is what you get. Yes, Adohi Lodge is just as beautiful (inside and out) as the photos depict.

- How treacherous are the roads leading up to Adohi Lodge?

Not bad at all. The only incline you will have is for about 100 yds leading up to Adohi Lodge in the community road it sits off of. The community road is a little steep but VERY WIDE, with no hair raising turns or drop offs. Of course, as with all mountain driving, four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended during heavy snow, but Adohi Lodge's location really makes traveling to the lodge a snap for even the most tentative of drivers.

- What do we need to bring for our stay?

Very little, as Adohi Lodge is well stocked with all the cooking appliances, linens, utensils, games and books, and laundry facilities you need.

- Is the hot tub cleaned between guests?

Of course. After each guest departs, our cleaning staff drains the hot tub water, cleans the hot tub, installs a chemically sanitized filter, refills the hot tub, and chemically sanitizes the new water with bromine shock. A bromine floater helps the water stay clear and sanitized during your stay.

- What if we find a problem at Adohi Lodge upon check-in?

Please walk through the lodge upon check-in. Should you notice any problem with the lodge just call us or our local housekeeping staff. Contact information is provided as part of your VRBO rental information packet and inside the Guest Notebook or posted on the frig. We make every attempt to rectify the issue

The cabin was beautiful with a great view!!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and very clean and tidy!! The hot tub was great and very private. 2 full sized bathrooms were nice. One on each level. Close to all amenities and easy drive to Gatlinburg! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a weekend getaway!

Owner's Response: We are glad you found the cabin to your liking. We feel keeping the property well maintained is important. Our housekeeper focuses on keeping the cabin tidy with a real focus on cleanliness. The cleaning and maintenance staff do their best to always try to resolve any issues to the guest’s satisfaction. The reas,on we purhased the property as our vacation home was because of its location and views. We also like the privacy of the hot tub and its view of the mountain range in the National Park. Wand many guests think it’s awesome that you can see Mt. LeConte, Mt. Guyot and Clingmans Dome all from the privacy of the hot tub or outdoor dining table and rocking chairs on the back deck. Thank you again for your kind words and review. We look forward to having you back to our cabin as our guest in the not too distant future. Very respectfully the Tuckers

Our stay

  • 5 of 5

We found the cabin to be extremely cozy, warm, and inviting. It was nice to stay in the cabin rather than in a motel room. The inside was very comfortable and the view out the back was nice. Everything that we needed for our stay was present . I would very highly recommend this cabin for anyone visiting the area.

Relaxing, romantic getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had a very pleasant experience at Adohi Lodge! While in a cabin community, you still get the privacy with the porch and hot tub on the side. It's the perfect combination of private and secluded, yet only 10-15 minutes from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The cabin is clean, with all the necessary linens and appliances/cookware. Our favorite night was actually the night we just stayed in and grilled steaks, green beans and potatoes! Additionally, Mr. Tucker was wonderful to work with and communicate with. He made sure to call the evening before to make sure we had all the information we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would def recommend this property to others!

Owner's Response: We are glad you had a pleasant stay at the cabin and found it very comfortable and enjoyable. We are happy that the location, privacy, and private gated community’s relatively speaking seclusion was to your liking. We hope to have you back as our guest again soon.

Owner's Response: We really appreciate your taking the time to write a 5-Star review and share your kind words a out what you enjoyed and found helpful regarding your stay at our cabin. The only thing better than the bed and hot tub is Hearing the rain on the metal roof at night. We would like to have you and your wife back as our special guest from Texas on a future anniversary or vacation.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your wonderful 5-Star review, Rodney! We are delighted that you and your wife had such a great time at Adohi Lodge and were able to enjoy all the area has to offer and the various amenities our cabin provides the guest. I enjoyed our discussion regarding all the things to do in the area. Hopefully the things-to-do information we provide before your visit was helpful and allowed you and your wife to do additional research and planning before your stay at Adohi Lodge. I really liked hearing about you and your wife’s stay and all the fun things you did during your stay. We hope to get up your way to Maine to do some fly fishing and will be in touch to get your recommendations regarding the area and things to do while fly fishing in Maine. We do hope you will visit us again during your next trip to The Great Smoky Mountains. Hurry back. New memories and experiences are waiting to be made!

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin and asked about renting it agai in the future. Our cleaner Jana and Vladimir would have been glad to come over and address any additional area that needed any additional attention. I wish you had either called or text the cleaner who information is posted in the cabin to do any additional cleaning you felt was necessary or was accidentally overlooked. We hope you could see and can appreciate how hard our housekeepers Vladimir and Jana works to keep the cabin neat and clean for every guest. Some things are out of our control, but we always do our best to satisfy any concerns or issue our guest might encounter during their stay with us. We appreciate your being our guest and that you enjoyed your stay, and we hope you will visit the area again soon.
