Overview

About the property

4 Bedroom - Sleeps 10- Humidified Heating System -20 steps to the Slopes!

This brand new home has been built for comfort and convenience. It is a spectacular choice for your Montana vacation that allows you to experience the exquisite mountain atmosphere and is filled with all the present-day amenities.

As you drive up the 480ft private driveway, you will feel lost amongst the trees…until you reach the beautiful Hideout.

Simply drive into the garage and unload your luggage into the elevator. At the push of a button, everything you brought will be sent to the correct floor. No more heavy lifting; this is your vacation!

Once inside, you still feel connected to the beauty of Big Sky. The house is covered with windows allowing you to take in the breathtaking views. Look out the 20-foot tall windows lining the reclaimed lumber staircase as the deer and moose mosey through the property. Start a wood burning fire in the vaulted great room with natural gas, no kindling needed. Grab a hot chocolate and relax on one of the two window seats. Fall into the leather cushions and watch the foxes bound between the trees out of the 6-foot picture windows. Turn on the 48-inch HDTV complete with 6 speaker surround sound-- capable of playing all of your favorite songs from your computer/phone on this audio system.

While on the back deck, you can clip on your skis/snowboard and enter onto Low dog trail down to the Thunderwolf chairlift. Instead of meeting at one of the lodges for lunch, meet your friends and family back home. At the end of the day, you won’t have to worry about loading everyone into the car because you can practically ski into the ski room from the back deck! Take off those heavy boots and attach them to the boot dryers, so you’re ready for the next day on the slopes.

Need to relax after a hike or day on the slopes? Head out to the hot tub!

The kitchen is filled with stainless steel Bosch appliances, a large farm-style sink, and an elevated dishwasher. There’s also an infrared grill. The 2 Master bedrooms have 48-inch surround sound systems, and the other 2 bedrooms have TV's as well. The bathrooms contain custom-built vanities, marble showers, and heated toilet seats! 48 Miles to the West Gate at Yellowstone National Park

The Hideout has an automatic humidification system built into it, so no more filling of those humidifiers!

Beautiful, quiet location near village.

The house was everything we could hope for and more. Beautifully furnished and the beds were heavenly. It was immaculate with all the ammenities you could want. The owner was beyond responsive when we had questions or needed help. Since it is perched on a hilltop you truly feel like you are in a tree house when you look outside. Everything was perfect for our multi generational family get away.

True Ski in/Ski out

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, private home nestled in the woods, yet we were able to ski right down to the Thunder Wolf lift. Our group of 12 (three families with six teenage boys!) skied daily, and we really appreciated the ski room with ample room for our skis, boots (12 boot warmers!), and wet apparel. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the home, including a very well stocked kitchen, luxurious bedding, and toiletries in the showers. Bernie was delightful to work with and quick to respond when we had a hot tub issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Luxurious, warm, comfortable, great location

  • 5 of 5

Luxurious. Comfortable. Quiet. Private. Great views. Beautifully appointed kitchen so cooking meals was a pleasure. Family of 9 fit comfortably. Easy to ski right out the door to the Thunder Wolf chairlift. Easy to get back for lunch and ski out again. (Ski in not for beginners, so our beginner parked at main base). Every little detail taken care of. Bernie was always right there replying to texts if we needed something. Manager even drove down the mountain to drop off a forgotten clothing item. Couldn't ask for anything else. Driveway requires at least AWD or good snow tires.

A beautiful, secluded home....

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The photos can't begin to capture the magnificent views from every window or the charm and loveliness inside the house. For us privacy was essential and this property provided abundantly. The kitchen is very well equipped. We had organized menus and shopped in Bozeman planning to prepare most meals in house. We were not disappointed in any way with the provisions provided by the owner and we dined under the stars or if still daylight views that delighted us more each day. The fireplace is enchanting and we built one every night. We also used the outdoor grill which was perfect. There are two master bedrooms both with king beds that were incredibly comfortable with the coziest beds! The other two bedrooms....one was quite small with a queen bed and the other had two sets of bunkbeds and a futon. With did not use the two smaller bedrooms so I cannot comment, both did have hall bathrooms. Their are two window seats in the dining room that are perfect for snuggling with Morning coffee and blankets. We have so many special memories. The entire great room and dining room are spectacular. The upstairs ski room was wonderful

with boot and glove warmers, (enough for 12 I think). This room was the entrance to ski in and out. The ski in path is very narrow and very steep and I would classify it a black entrance. I was told improvements were coming in this regard. Also off the ski room door is a deck where the hot tub is located. We enjoyed the hot tub every afternoon apres ski. It is fantastic, nice and hot and strong jets. Again very private and gorgeous. Nothing was overlooked in making this home comfortable for it's guests

The street and driveway were very well maintained and plowed often.

We highly recommend this property.

Great Christmas and New Years week for our family and guests. We had great dinners in every night given the kitchen and dining area were so ideal. Best property we have stayed in over all the years we have been coming to Big Sky and Jackson Hole. Thank you Bernie for all your care and follow up during our stay.
