Laura's apartment is perfect for a group. Lots of space and an excellent neighborhood that has a lot going on. Good access to the metro. The location is not touristy at all but both ends of the Champs-Élysées are within a 1-2km walk.

We are a family of 4, two adults and two teenagers (13 and 15) and the place was comfortable for all of us. The location was great with metro stations nearby. The apartment is very clean. It has those little “extras” that let you know the host caters to travelers, which makes the difference between 4 and 5 stars, like multiple ports/spots for charging your devices, a hair dryer, a binder with info, and map of the metro/transit system. These are the little things that were done that made us feel welcome in the home. It’s a quiet area and especially quiet at night. No street noise, so we were all able to sleep well. I would definitely recommend this property to a family of 4, even 5.

Beautiful little apartment for our short stay. The bathroom is contemporary and practical. Right on the Blvd Haussman. 5 mn from the metro. It was everything we needed and more. Keys are easy to find if you watch the video. We will be back!

First of all, I would like to say what a beautiful flat this is. Our hosts were truly gracious and kind. This is a family home, so it was perfect for my family of 6. And our hosts were so kind to help me with some of my specific needs for my 5 year old daughter. I had always fantasized about having a Parisian apartment so this was the perfect opportunity for me to live out something on my bucket list. It is an 18th century apartment with all of the beautiful plaster moldings and high ceilings. My favorite part of the apartment was the kitchen. It is compact, as most European kitchens are, but it is very well organized and our hosts are obviously accomplished chefs. I was able to make one of the best meals ever to celebrate New Year's Day and host my college daughter's study abroad host mother and family for an elegant sit down dinner. Truly, I can say this was one of the best vacations of our lives! We will have these memories forever.

We loved the original Haussmann architecture of this charming and quite spacious apartment and was perfectly located in the 8th arrondissement. Loved the art in the place, had a very usable kitchen for at home meals and comfortable spaces. Love!

We stayed at the Gauger residence in late June of 2019. The apartment is wonderful - very large, with four nicely sized bedrooms, including a wonderful master suite. The fully appointed kitchen is brand new and the dining and living rooms are large enough to hold 7/8 people without feeling cramped. The high ceilings add to the spaciousness of the residence. The apartment looks out onto a small park, which adds to the charm of the home. The residence is located in a wonderful section of Paris - similar to that of the upper east or west sides of NYC. We were able to get groceries, coffee and dinner all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The subway stop is a short walk from the apartment, but walking to the major sites in Paris is reasonable. (Our families walked to the Arc de Triumph, Opera House and Eiffel Tower on our first few days in Paris, but switched to the subway to save time later on during our stay.) Also, if you are planning on visiting Normandy, the Gare St. Lazare train station is about a five minute walk from the apartment making a day trip to the area very easy. In short, the residence is very conveniently located. I would also add that we visited Paris during a tremendous heat wave and the apartment stayed cool and comfortable even without air-conditioning . I would highly recommend staying at the Gauger residence when you visit Paris.
