About Lee Anne
B-R-R-R!! It's cold in Pennsylvania in the winter and that's why Jim and I moved to Florida in 1956 and have never regretted the move. We lived in the Pittsburgh area in a little town named Aliquippa. After raising our family in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, we retired to Ocala and live in the 'Horse Capitol of the World'. I retired from the Pinellas County school system and Jim retired from owning his own scale company. I've always liked looking out over the ocean and enjoying the sun and the breeze so I start looking for a condo near the water. Although I live in Ocala, I really enjoy the two-hour drive to St Augustine Beach where my condo is located.
Lee Anne purchased this Condo in 2012
Why Lee Anne chose Butler Beach
Having family living in St. Augustine and enjoying the history of the oldest city, I found the beautifully landscaped resort of Ocean Gallery. Although my condo is not directly on the beach it is within a short minutes' walk to the boardwalk which is the private gated walkway that takes you to the beautiful white sandy shore of the Atlantic Ocean where I can sit under one of the gazebos or on one of the benches along the walkway. It is so peaceful and relaxing. But if it's fitness you want, take a brisk morning's walk along the ocean's shore and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets or enjoy the many amenities provided including a fitness room at the indoor/outdoor pool area among others. I bought this condo as a 'home away from home' and have enjoyed immensely having my family and friends enjoy it with me. I can sit on the lanai upstairs or downstairs and enjoy looking at the lagoon with its pretty fountain and watch the many birds and turtles who have made it their home too.
What makes this Condo unique
It offers 24 hour security which to me is an important feature. The amenities can't be beat. It is newly furnished with a beach theme. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. The above picture is sunset over downtown St. Augustine.

Great place, had a wonderful time
The condo is very nice, clean, beautiful. Short walk to gorgeous white-sand beach. Highly recommend
Another lovely visit!
We came back to this place because it was so wonderful the first time. The second time didn't disappoint. The unit was just right, clean and tidy, with everything you need for a beach vacation. Thanks again!
Perfect! Everything was exactly as advertised. We had a fabulous time. Would definitely rent again.
Great condo! Everything is thought of for you, clean and roomy!
Would definitely stay in this unit again - very close to beach and left us wanting for nothing!
Excellent condo and service
The owner was absolutely wonderful to us. We were surprised to get into the condo early, found everything clean, well organized and stocked. The beach is conveniently close and the pool was excellent, not crowded at all. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Can't say enough good things about this unit and the complex. Had a lovely stay and everything we needed was at our fingertips. Short walk to the beach and a pool too!
Historic St. Augustine is a must see. The oldest continuous city in the USA offers much for the history buff and the shopper. Things that you don't want to miss: Tour Castillo de San Marcos, Fort Matanzas National Monument, Lightner Museum, St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum. Shopping around the historic district offers everything from souvenirs to antiques to arts and crafts to clothing. After a day of visiting the city come back and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean with its beautiful white sandy beaches. St. Augustine offers History & Culture, Music & Art, Night Life, Sightseeing, Shopping and in September, we just celebrated the 450th birthday of St. Augustine. Don't miss a narrated tour in a horse drawn carriage which can be romantic or family fun or the "Red Train" for a Hop-on Hop-off experience. There are guided walking tours, or evening Ghost Tours. Just don't forget to take some of the finest restaurants. The seafood is fresh and restaurants have outdoor seating so you don't miss any of the wonderful Florida sunshine and ocean breeze.
