This beautiful studio is a ocean front Resort & Spa that has a pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, full gym, spa, and everything else you would expect at a luxury resort. We even have real Mayan Ruins across the street!

Our guest suite includes: Your own private balcony with table and chairs on it - King Size Bed - Convertible Full size Sleep/Sofa - Private Bath - Kitchenette - Large Refrigerator - Microwave - Toaster Oven - Coffee Maker - Two Burner Hot Plate - Silverware - Dishes - Satellite TV - Free Wifi - Hair Dryer - Iron and Washer and Dryer free of charge!

The floors are all marble, and it has a cathedral ceiling, air conditioning, a safe, linens, and towels for the bath, beach and pool.

Your balcony over looks the resorts pool area and the gorgeous ocean.. The views are amazing! At night you can see the lights from the island of Cozumel across the sea!

There are 2 restaurants in our place, both with full bars. One of the bars has a swim up counter in the pool. The lobby restaurant also serves a breakfast buffet in the mornings. Both restaurants serve food and beverages poolside and on the beach.

About our neighborhood:

We are in the middle of Playacar Fase 1, which is a very safe, gated, beach front neighborhood at the south end of Playa del Carmen. Playacar is divided into two phases. We live in Phase 1, which is very small and private in comparison to Phase 2. It is mostly single family houses except for one other condominium and one hotel, both of which are at the entrance to our neighborhood.

We are about a 10 minute walk along the beach to 5th Avenue, locally known as La Quinta. There you will find hundreds of restaurants. They serve everything from tacos or ceviche to French cuisine. The atmospheres range from sand-in-your-toes to high-end, fine dining, and you can spend as little or as much as you want. If you sit at one of the outdoor restaurants, you may be treated to live music by the strolling Mariachis.

I am a US citizen but I spend most of my time here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My first trip here was in 1984, but I did not return again until 2004. In 2005 I decided to buy my first property here. Although I still maintain a lake house in Massachusetts, an apartment in Manhattan and an apartment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this is my home. In addition to the local Mexicans and Mayans, you will meet people from all over the world here. We have had guests from countries like Germany, Holland, South Africa, Israel and others, as well as Mexico, the US and Canada. Everybody who comes here falls in love with the place, and I am sure you will too.

It has more of a private beach than other resorts and just close enough to town when I want to venture into the excitement. I fell in love with this place because of the spectacular ocean right in my back yard. The powder soft sand between my toes and the multi-colored ocean waters is enough to make you not want to go home!

Fantastic relaxing stay in late spring.

Our stay at Fisherman's 333S was exactly what we had expected it to be and more. The resort was great with many beach walkers stopping and looking and taking pictures, probably because of the closeness to the ocean compared to other resorts. The view from the room everyday was outstanding! The room was very clean with nearly everything you needed to prepare a meal in your condo available in the kitchen, although we ate out everyday. The resort also has a restaurant and an optional meal plan as well, which we did lunch at on beach days. The resort was having some issues with the water the day we arrived but it did not impact us and was repaired within a few hours. The resort was only about a 20 minute walk to 5th avenue and if you did not want to walk, it was 90 pesos for the taxi, which arrived within a few minutes of requesting one at the entrance. Staff was very friendly at the resort. The bed was very comfortable and my wife and I sleep very well, actually better that we do at home. The resort was quiet and never heard anything from the surrounding rooms. Communication before, during, and after the trip was excellent. Wifi worked well in the room but was a little to far away to get a signal when at the beach, but that is to be expected. Might have worked if around the pool area but we sat on the beach. The section of beach in front of the resort is very clear of any rocks unlike many of the resorts we passed. I definitely would consider staying here again in the future!! Very nice, relaxing place, close to 5th Avenue, for a very affordable price compared to the big resorts just a few resorts away.

Fisherman's Village is beautiful! The facility is clean, ocean access is just steps away, and the staff is very attentive.

A fabulous stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Fishermans 333S. It is not super fancy, but it has everything you need and the location is great. We walked into 5th Avenue on a nightly basis and felt totally safe. We loved taking out the kayaks and our parasail trip. Other highlights include a cenote excursion and a snorkeling trip on Cozumel. The staff at Fishermans were courteous and very helpful.

perfect location, lovely views

We loved the location of this condo in Playacar. You are right on the beach, far enough from the the center of town for peace and quiet yet close enough if one wants to walk to a restaurant. Playacar is a lush tropical residential neighbourhood. It was always a surprise to walk through a narrow walkway and like Alice through the looking glass, arrive at the frenetic heart of Playa del Carmen. We loved the intimate scale of the resort. The owners were easy to acsess and very professional. The condo is small and the food preparation area is minimal but sufficient. The highlight is the terrace and large window which have good views. For such an exclusive location we found the condo to be good value.

Paradise

My husband and I spent 7 weeks in the condo and it was as beautiful as the pictures. The corner unit has views of the ocean from both windows which when opened create a fantastic cross breeze. The condo is very comfortable with everything you need. The blinds are room darkening so not a problem if you want to sleep in. This unit has its own internet which many others do not. We often saw people in the lobby using the resort wifi.

Prior to our arrival Penny ensured the internet was in good working order so I could work from there some of the time. It was very reliable, just slightly slower than in the states.

This unit also has direct access to a washer/dryer which is a huge plus. Of all the other guests we talked with, we did not find anyone who had a washer/dryer.

Penny was extremely responsive to our questions prior to our arrival and sent us helpful information on where to get groceries and resort offers of bikes, kayaks etc. For groceries, we either walked (less than a mile) and taxied back ($7) or borrowed the resort bikes.

Sergio, the property manager, treats everyone like Royalty. His customer service is the best we’ve seen. If you need anything or something is wrong, he responds within the hour (he is offsite).

We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back!

What a beautiful relaxing place! Enjoyed every aspect of the resort.

Perfectly manicured and well kept.

Oceanside is an accurate description of the placement of the rooms to beach. Wonderful service and affordable prices on food and drinks...both of which were great! Highly recommended!! I will return for more fun in the sun!
