About Brenda Sansom
Owner: Brenda Sansom, I have lived in Lake Quinault since 1975, graduated from Lake Quinault High School and married Tom Sansom Who passed away in 2017. We raised a family of three daughters who also all graduated from Lake Quinault High School. Our love for this wonderful place generated from generations of both sides of the family who also lived, schooled and raised families here. With our love for nature, the great outdoors and wildlife, Lake Quinault has fulfilled all our activity needs. My greatest joy is to be fortunate enough to share this spectacular vacation area Of Lake Quinault and Olympic National Park with people from all over the world by providing amazing accommodations to our visitors. My three grandsons say that this is the best place in the whole world!
Brenda Sansom purchased this House in 2005
Why Brenda Sansom chose Amanda Park
We first purchased this home to have a place to access the lake and have a close to home vacation spot for ourselves. We soon realized that we needed to share this amazing spot On Lake Quinault to all who have a desire to visit God's country
What makes this House unique
Available property to buy on Lake Quinault has always been scarce due to the boundaries of Olympic National Park, US Forest Service and Tribal land. We owned the home next to Cottage Cove and had been operating as a Nightly, weekly vacation home Since 1996. We had established a successful business with many request for additional accommodations so our guest can bring larger groups. When this home came up for sale, the previous owners gave us first option to buy! We were lucky to have the opportunity and very grateful!

Gorgeous setting and view
We were very happy with our stay in your lovely home. We even had snow fall on the second day (February 22nd). Which made the awesome view even more beautiful! Pristine lake with snow covered hills and mountains and a cozy fireplace inside to take it all in. Really appreciated the peace and quiet and letting us take our sweet dog with us. Thank you!
small lakefront property with nice day time view; basic property
This was a decent place. Would have given 4 stars, but I thought it was overpriced considering some of the detriments I experienced below. Admit those are personal preferences, and might not be an issue for others. The owners were very nice and responsive. I would consider renting again, but not at such a high price during the off season.
Lake front property
Large deck and nice outdoor area leading down to lake
Adjacent to stream that flows into Lake Quinault
Very small place
Neighbors on all sides
Stocked/furnished very basically
Not the owners fault, but at night the Rain Forest Resort/Salmon House Restaurant turns on a huge, industrial size spotlight that spoils the tranquility and nighttime view across the lake.
Thank you I agree it's probably a little expensive for one person but we normally Accommodate at least 6 people
Gorgeous view. Immaculately clean property. Everything as advertised and more. Couldn't have been happier!
This is a lovely cosy place to unwind, I would've loved to have stayed longer, the view is fabulous and the setting is as lovely as I'd hoped for. To the right of the house if you're facing the water is a neighbour's house, I presume the owners, which you can't see in the photos provided, saying that it was private. The lounge was a tiny bit small for the amount of people the house can accommodate, there were only really 4 chairs in the lounge, i.e. a three seater couch and a single chair, however this didn't affect our enjoyment in any way.
Beautiful and tranquil
Great little cabin. First, the view across the lake is just stunning and is worth the price of admission alone. Access to nearby activities is easy and fast, and the cabin itself is very cozy if you just want to hang out and relax. We did some hiking and kayaking and had a blast. The owner was friendly and great at communicating. Would stay here again!
This and its companion property are my favorite vacation homes. Stayed here a few years back, and loved it so much that I decided to do it again this summer with a group of friends.
Quiet private beach with a dock, kayaks, etc. Will definitely be coming back again some day.
