About Ray Greene

We live in Las Vegas, NV and frequently visit our home in the Big Bear area. We lived full time in Big Bear Lake from 2009 - 2014.

Ray Greene purchased this house in 2002

Why Ray Greene chose Big Bear Lake

This house was originally built in 1876. It was a motor-coach stop for visitors coming up the old road (Mill Creek) to Big Bear Lake. The house has been added onto several times and renovated. We bought the house in 2002 and in 2007 we renovated the entire house. Please enjoy our modern home which has a lot of history.

Great location and very accommodating.

We had a great time. Our daughters loved the playset the very most! The owner was very easy to work with and the house fit our family of 4 (plus one pooch) perfectly. Our only complaint was that our trip was too short.

Nice and quiet on a large lot

  • 4 of 5

Nice little place with a quiet deck to enjoy the afternoon or morning. It is set back from the street and mostly private. Fairly close to town, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle sounds of Big Bear. Plenty of parking, and has all the amenities you would need inside. Ray is very personable and helpful with anything you might need, including pointing out the best local hiking trails. We had a good time checking out the area. Thanks Ray!

This little home is exactly what my family needed in a quick get away to the mountains.

  • 5 of 5

Everything you need. It's just outside of town, but close enough to get anything you might need. This place is perfect for small families and groups that need a break, and still require amenities. The owner is easy to do business with and quick to respond. We could not have asked for better.

Summer 2017

  • 4 of 5

What a great little cabin. The bunks in the second bedroom and the outdoor playground make it a lot of fun for the little ones. The back deck is wonderful for morning coffee and evening stargazing. The location is convenient to all of Big Bear. We definitely recommend it and would rent it again. Dealing with the owner (Ray) was delightful.

Worked well for 4th of July Visit

  • 4 of 5

Location is great. I like being near the historical cabins on Iris and I was able to go for a run on the roads nearby. Convenient to both the Village and our friends who have a cabin on the west end of the lake. Décor is plain, I typically like to have a more mountain cabin feel. Certainly is well-equipped and comfortable.
