Awesome helpful owner and great house for our family. Sledding on the hill behind the property and snowball forts in the front yard! Great first time in the snow for our girls. Loved the location and all the modern amenities in the house

Great place for small family!

  • 5 of 5

I took my two daughters and two dogs up to stay at Ray Greene's place for Thanksgiving week. He was super flexible in allowing me to come up a day earlier than I scheduled for and had the place spotless and toasty warm by the time we got there. New linens on the beds and in the bathroom and cozy couches to curl up on at night. The kitchen was just big enough to cook in for my little family and the outdoor space with the playground was awesome for my 8 yr old! The dogs loved to run around out back and the neighbor, George, was so helpful and friendly!! We enjoyed watching some cable at night (as we don't have it at home!) and had breakfast together every morning at the table where we could watch the squirrels go up and down the trees. The water was always hot and having a dishwasher was great! We got caught in a winter storm the last day we were there and couldn't make it down the mountain the next day so Ray was kind enough to let us stay an extra day at no cost! He even called to have the road plowed all the way up to the driveway and the driver assisted me in getting chains on my car (which were purchased down the road at a place Ray recommended-who gave me a discount for renting from Ray!) We were able to leave the next day and Ray checked in on me to make sure we got back ok. All in all it was a great cozy place that my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed, with an amazingly kind and helpful owner, and will definitely be back to rent again next year!! Thanks for everything Ray!!

Good property, nice location & ambience

  • 4 of 5

It was nice staying there, nice kitchen, and rooms.

Owner is very helpful. Gave all the details about the property & the activities to be done around Big bear.

I has huge backyard and many things to play within the property.

Only one thing is that, the neighbor was running his clothes in this homes washer/dryer. So he had access to the home.

The bunker bed was metallic & shaky, making sound.

Rest all fine.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay! The "neighbor" is the property manager. He and the housekeeper have access to clean and maintain the property. They do not disturb renters.
