About this property

Waterfront View Perfect for Fun Loving Families!

There are not many places like this home that are less then a 10 minute walk to the beach that have a pool, and on a lake. We have games and activities for all the ages and everything you need to make this a memorable vacation. We will provide coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards and more. We have a sun room overlooking the pool with a wet bar and an arcade game with 60 of the old school games (Ms. Pac Man, Frogger, Battleship among others). This home has a primary suite with a king bed, another bedroom with two queen beds and one with a queen bed and a trundle. This home has a total of five TV's with a 70' tv in the living room and 50' TV in the master suite. Our kitchen has commercial grade appliances.

2023 upgrades include the primary bathroom remodeled and the entire interior of the house was painted.

We just added a pool heater and a pool cooler for those hot summer days.

We only rent from Saturday to Saturday.

Sorry no smoking or pets permitted.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please place a load of towels in the washer! All linens that were used should be placed in the laundry room
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We only rent from Saturday to Saturday. The only other charge is a weekly charge of $25.00 per vehicle to enter Palmetto Dunes

We had a fantastic stay at this home and would recommend to anyone planning a trip to the area. Would book again on our next trip down in a heartbeat Everything was well stocked and had everything you need on site. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area with the grill, pool and fire pit.

This house was perfect for our family of four. The pool and the whole outside backyard was very inviting and comfortable and we spent time out there just about every day. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The kitchen was spacious and well organized. The owner is very communicative and offered us suggestions for places to eat and things to do while on Hilton Head. We would definitely stay here again!

UK SUMMER 2025

We had a delightful time at 17 Full Sweep! 8 adults, 3 from the UK! The house is situated nicely within Palmetto Dunes. The pool, deck, patio, sunroom and outdoor bar made it for us! Mike was friendly and responsive! The home is lovely and well appointed! You cannot go wrong and we will be back!

Great House not far from Beach

House is exactly as picture. We had the pool heated for our stay in November, which was great. Everything you need is in the house and it is very comfortable. Owner was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Delightful Stay

We vacationed as a family of 6 with teens during TS Debby. It was our 4th visit to Palmetto Dunes, and we couldn’t more highly recommend the lovely home and its owners. The home is clean and comfortable, and the owner did a fantastic job of communicating and ensuring our stay was enjoyable. We would definitely book again.

Fantastic property

Everything about the property was as listed and in very good condition. Mike was very communicative both prior to and during our stay. We loved spending the late nights in the sunroom which shielded our voices from the toddler. Highly recommend staying here.

5 Stars – A Perfect Lowcountry Getaway!17 Full Sweep was the perfect getaway spot for our family vacation. The home was clean, newly updated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the private pool and the peaceful view from the small dock, where we even spotted a few alligators (a fun surprise for us!).The location was ideal—an easy walking and biking distance to the beach, even in the heat and humidity of summer. Amazing Vacation

The Sweet's home was fantastic and we were very grateful to be able to bring our fur daughter along with us! The kitchen is very well appointed and there were lots of places to store our own food. Our favorite part pf the house was the backyard with a pool that over looked the water-beautiful!!

Kitchen had everything you would need for cooking or grilling.Outdoor furniture and umbrella made relaxing very easy.Owner was always responsive to our texts. There was a slight problem with front door sticking. A carpenter was there the next day to fix. Greatly appreciate a VRBO owner who values their guests to this degree.We walked to the Palmetto Dunes tennis & pickleball facility each day. Also a short walk to the beach. You are close to everything.Highly recommend to families as a wonderful and relaxing place to stay.

Why they chose this property

Hilton Head has all the luxuries of a tourist town without the neon lights & over-crowded beaches. We started vacationing here 20 years ago and fell in love with the small-town feel; we ride bikes to the general store and Shelter Cove. Countless restaurants, pubs, and golf courses keep us busy but quiet nights on the porch are just as fun. We can't wait to retire in the beautiful place that keeps us young and suits our laid-back, outdoorsy lifestyle.

What makes this property unique

After owning a condo in Port Royal Village for the past 10 years, 17 Full Sweep was a natural, wonderful upgrade to our Hilton Head vacation property. Large enough to house a few families but still small enough to feel cozy, we love that we can relax in the family room or have game night in the screened in porch. This property allows us to lounge poolside or play many of our outdoor games for all ages. We take pride in our home & can't wait for you to enjoy it!
