This cool, ground floor condominium is the most spacious 1200 sq ft two-bedroom 'C' plan, with sunken living room, brand new designer furniture, and extensive travertine and granite surfaces. Oceanic Time Warner cable, internet, phone, and Wi-Fi.

Both kitchen and living room are completely remodeled! The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and free-standing travertine bath, with a separate shower room. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full separate bathroom. Washer/dryer in unit. There is a large garden Lanai for outdoor dining and entertaining.

Maui's most exclusive location with the best weather is the award-winning Wailea Resort. Ideally situated just uphill from gorgeous Keawekapu Beach, The Palms at Wailea is an architect-designed two-story-only complex with charming Mediterranean accents, and beautifully-manicured grounds, including two lily ponds joined by a charming stream. It's an easy walk to the luxury 'Shops at Wailea and many fine restaurants. Five world-class golf courses and tennis club nearby.

Please note that Palms at Wailea no longer allows private grills. There will not be a grill for you to use on the lanai of this condo.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

We would like to inform you that the pool at the Palms of Wailea will be temporarily closed from September 16th to 19th for cleaning and resealing of the pool surface to ensure a safe environment for everyone. To further prevent future closures, we have also scheduled a drainage of the pool during this time to repair pool equipment

Beautiful home away from home!

This unit is beautifully remodelled and spacious. We visit Maui frequently but this was our first time staying at The Palms. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed our proximity to the pool. The second bedroom needs some love. A chest of drawers and more comfortable mattresses would be very desirable. Also, a bigger hot water tank is needed to service a larger family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most certainly be returning to this lovely home away from home!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed many times at Palms at Wailea in the past. Unit 403 is close to the pool which can be very handy. There is a bit more traffic, both pedestrian and vehicle, than at some of the other units. There is never any sunshine on the lanai. be advised. The lounge chairs are a bit tired. We used the BBQ often and used the lanai table for dinners. The BBQ was pretty greasy when we arrived but we were able to clean it up. There are ants in the kitchen, as there were last year when we stayed in this unit for a shorter period of time. There are beach chairs which we used often but no beach umbrella so we bought one and left it in the unit. The land line phone was not working when we arrived and our email requests to the customer service office were not returned so after a few days we stopped by the CBIP office which did result in a next day response.

Worst unit at the palms and terrible service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon checking in at 4 PM ( check-in time is 3pm) I was greeted by a strange man leaving the unit and a woman actively cleaning the condo. After questioning what was happening, the woman, Rachel, proceeded to let me know that she was still cleaning the unit and that it was quite common for housekeeping to still be cleaning while guests were checking in. There were piles of dirty laundry all over the bedroom, the sheets in the kids rooms were damp, there was laundry running in both the washer and the dryer. I told her that this was quite unfortunate and she proceeded to slam the door in my face. I asked her to leave and it turned into quite the verbal altercation which happened in front of my children. She ran off with handfuls of laundry and an incomplete job. This was absolutely the worst check-in experience. I quickly called the property management company who promptly came over. They apologized for the “inconvenience“ and left. We quickly realized that this unit was not up to par. Of the four other units I have stayed at the Palms, and four other units at neighboring properties in Wailea, this was the worst equipped. Everything from an empty pantry, barely any pots/pans/utensils, hardly anything for a beach (literally only 4 chairs and 5 beach towels), no shampoo (we stayed for 2 weeks), no laundry hamper (we had a two bedroom), broken closet door (literally inoperable) floors missing baseboards, awful bathroom design (the entrance to the shower was INSIDE the toilet “room”), small ants absolutely everywhere (this is not common at the Palms), steak/chopping knives that didn’t cut anything, all linens in the closet were musty/used, A completely broken closet door in the guest room which meant that my children were not able to open/use a closet- the list is endless. The property management company came back The next day and brought a single laundry hamper, a single bottle of shampoo, and three brand new sheet

It smelled amazing when you first walked in, everything was clean and nicely updated from the pictures displayed on the ad. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, the unit stayed nice and cool, and it was in a perfect location for our family. It was quiet, the grounds were beautifully kept and we look forward to staying in the unit again in the future!!

Reviewer Comments: We enjoy staying at the Palms and have done so many times over the years. Originally booked building 7 and the unit sold so CBIP moved us to 403. Positives, close to the pool, clean unit, ground floor, beach chairs, beach towels, good a/c, bbq, responsive property managers. Negatives, patio faces the driveway, tiny TV in living room, front door wouldn't close the property manager reacted quickly to send someone to fix the front door. Unit was missing dish rack, dish clothes, bath floor mat, tin foil and all were restocked within a couple of hours of contacting the CBIP property manager and that was very much appreciated. The kitchen in the unit is sparsely stocked with just 4 wine glasses and 4 dinner plates, they did have a few additional smaller plates. For spices they only provide salt and pepper so you'll need to bring your own spices which we always plan to do when we rent at the Palms. Overall we were satisfied with our rental of unit 403 and happy with CBIP managers

However, the telephone did not work and the barbeque was an unusable appliance. The barbeque was replaced and after a few phone calls the phone was replaced. Unfortunately, at some time during our stay, the back wheel on our rental car was stolen from our parking slot at The Palms. This caused us a great deal of trouble. I supplied a police report to the Property Manager.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Accommodation was comfortable and description of property fairly accurate. There were plumbing issues which were a huge set back. The master shower is very poorly set up, one had to either get in the shower and let the water temperature acclimatize whilst getting cold shower or have the shower running and let water spill out whilst entering. The first night we found the sink drain plugged, emailed service and issue was rectified. the second day there was a notice advising water shut off due to an emergency pipe burst. The third day there was a notice to clear the unit for the morning to allow for pest control. the fourth night we arrived after a long day and found no water supply, toilet water heavily soiled. Queried with maintenance and was advised there was an issue with the prior water main repair and it required additional repairs, Instructions were to keep taps running in the jacuzzi until the soiled water cleared. The soiled water left muddy residue and stains in the jacuzzi, toilets and all sinks which required cleaning. We were advised maintenance were not able to caution ahead of time as the personnel were not available and apologized that we had to find out in by surprise.The fifth day onwards there was sewer odor coming from the 2nd bathroom which got stronger by the day.The beach chairs and cooler came in very handy. The property was comfortable apart from the plumbing issues. Overall the issues unfortunately made it a poor choice. The ground floor location allows only minimal water views. There was additional bedding for the sofa bed in the closet all crumpled up from prior usage which was obviously left unattended by the cleaners prior to our entry. The unit is fairly spacious and adequately furnished.

Nice comfortable condo

The location, cleanliness, and overall layout were great. The stairs leading down to the kitchen living room area are a hazard and the design flaw, and we all learned of tripping over them at some point.I partly solve the problem by putting a chair over the corner so we didn’t keep running into it. Otherwise, this worked well, and it was great to have the towels and beach chairs. I was attending a conference, and we were just close enough without being too close.

Wonderful Stay in Wailea

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great property for its price in the Wailea area. It was a great floor plan for our family with 2 sons in their late teens. It is a mile from an amazing beach that connects to the beach walk along all the resorts. The beaches have public parking so we usually drove due to all the beach equipment we would take. Unlike the resort beaches, this beach had plenty of room to spread out and not feel like people were on top of each other. It's a very short drive to the Wailea shops and restaurants, along with the Kihei area. The condo is well equipped with kitchen supplies. The beach chairs and towels also nice to have. We did see some ants in the kitchen and spiders in the living room as were mentioned in other reviews. They were not constant and not a surprise in an island area. We just kept the kitchen clean and the dry foods in the refrigerator. Just something to know in case these would really bother you. Overall, we had an amazing week staying in this condo. The management company was very professional and easy to communicate with.

We were really impressed with this location. It was clean and the bedding looked new. It had plenty of pool towels along with boogie boards and beach chairs. The master bath shower is great for tall people. The kids loved how close we were to the pool. We were considering a nice hotel nearby, yet the kids were happy with the simple pool here and we all were happy with the extra space compared to the hotels. Our friends who have been vacationing at these condos for years; stayed in a condo with an ocean view and said our unit was one of the nicest interiors compared the the ones they have stayed. We did not need to contact the property managers. The pool area does have a concierge office. You can leave your luggage there if you need to check-out and your flight doesn't leave for awhile. I felt for the price this condo is a very good value.

Overall Not Terrible

The place was much shabbier and dirtier than the photos let on, the walls were covered in dirty scuff marks, there are huge gaps between the wall and the carpteing which allowed for pests to enter, the sheets need to be upgraded and the place needs to be THOROUGHLY deep cleaned, it was grungy in the corners and everythiong felt very filmy. The place was in a good location and about a mile walk to the beach both ways. The property management was very prompt with their responses and the check in/out process was very easy. Overall the experience was okay, but I would definitely recommend this place get a good deep clean and some very needed upgrades.

Great Condo at a Great Rate

I've stayed in the Palms at Wailea complex a few times, and this was by far my favourite unit. Smart island decor, without being too kitschy. Well-appointed rooms, and large lanai space. Located centrally from both Wailea and Kihei. You can easily get to any of the beaches and beachfront resorts or drive into "town" for groceries, lunch, etc. My only negative is that the knives in the kitchen (and there were a lot!) were woefully dull. Not a single one could cut into a bell pepper without smashing it. But otherwise, I'd highly recommend Unit 403, and will certainly look to book it again when I return to Wailea.

It is conveniently located, and our unit, # 403, was spacious and clean. It has a great flow, and welcoming amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed use of the very updated kitchen and the grill on the lanai.I would surely return to this unit when revisiting Maui. One suggestion, however, is the replacement or deep cleaning of the living room has seen better days.
