What makes this House unique
Park Point @ Secluded Dunes is magical. It's smaller, tucked away, exclusive and quiet ... While we were building Mare Vista, we'd end the day in a trance listening to the wildlife and watching the twinkling lights of Port St. Joe come into sight as darkness fell, reminding us of our other favorite place, Positano, on the Amalfi coast in Italy.

We stayed the week prior also and this house is just fantastic. We have four young children and a dog - and everyone enjoyed their time. Mare Vista is the perfect place for a quiet and secluded beach vacation (especially during a pandemic!) Kyle Cunningham could not have been more helpful - he was so responsive when we had questions and super kind. The house is well-appointed and very comfortable. The spa and screened in lower level offered the perfect place to relax after a busy day at the beach and pool. THe walk to the beach was made easier by a cart to carry our belongings. The house is also located so close to the state park -- I cannot say enough that it really was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy all that the area has to offer. We will definitely return either in the fall or next spring. We love the area and the friendliness of the management team!!
Thank you so much! You were great guests and we look forward to your next trip! Stay safe!

Perfect venue for family vacation!
We had family from Michigan and Florida stay here to spend the holidays. It was the perfect location for our long-anticipated vacation! The facilities are spacious and immaculate, the kitchen is huge and easy to cook in, the porches are lovely, it's a short walk to the beach, the swim spa was so much fun! It was also really nice to have all the bathroom/bedrooms/living space on one floor, especially if there's anyone with mobility concerns in your party. We would highly recommend anyone staying here (and are already looking at potential dates to come back!).
Thank you for spending your holidays with us! We're SO glad you enjoyed your vacation. We do hope you will come stay with us again!

A Quiet and Serene Location
I stayed at this lovely property with my wife and kids, as well as my parents and sister. We all had plenty of room within the property and enjoyed the large open floor plan. The bedrooms and private bathrooms were perfect and spacious. The pool and beach access were within a short walking distance, but we did rent a golf cart which made it a bit easier to carry our stuff back and forth.
The property is nestled in a very quiet and small community, we absolutely loved it. The beaches were desolate and beautiful and we had the pool to ourselves the entire week. We ate at Cone Heads (we recommend the surf and turf burger), which is maybe a two-minute drive from the property, as well as Shipwreck Raw Bar (get the raw oysters and crab legs). We also enjoyed the short drive to the St. Joe Shrimp Co. for scallops, stuffed crab, oysters, and souvenirs, and would then walk right next door to the Trading Post for groceries and ice cream. If you are looking for activities along the coast, we highly recommend Sand N Spur for horseback riding; Karmin was amazing.
We absolutely loved our time in Cape San Blas, and the property was amazing. We not only highly recommend it, but we are already discussing our return trip!
We are SO glad you enjoyed your stay! You took advantage of so many restaurants and activities available in our area. We look forward to your return. You were great guests!

Cape san blas has its own worry-free character with miles of shell-strewn shoreline and countless opportunities for quiet adventures.
Cape san blas is a 17-mile long barrier peninsula, curving around st. Joseph bay offering playful surf and white sand beaches on the gulf side and smooth, shallow water on the bay side. The cape is known for its clear, sometimes blue, sometimes green water and low, gentle surf. Families who vacation on the cape choose this spot for both its beauty and its seclusion. Drag a chair to the beach with a book, throw a line to the surf, or comb the shore for treasures. Scattered with shells, the sand in this quiet paradise is super soft and sparkling white.
Tired of relaxing? Peddle, walk or jog along loggerhead run bike trail for a different view. Browse through eclectic beach stores, cool off with some ice cream or grab a few pounds of bay shrimp to steam while you watch the sun go down.
Looking for something more adventurous? Local outfitters will get you rigged. Horseback riding is available on the beach and guided tours are offered daily. Canoe, kayak and sailboat rentals are available as well as diving, snorkeling and eco-excursions.
Take the time to explore the bay. Wade through grassy flats, kayak with your kids and glide above two feet of water for miles. The clear, shallow water offers hours of safe play and discovery for little ones as well as adults. Sand dollars, starfish, scallops and schools of colorful fish are fun to find... Ten times more fun with a snorkel and mask!
Mare vista is at the tip of cape san blas adjacent to st. Joseph peninsula state park, home of america’s #1-ranked beach and america’s best state park!
Recognized as perhaps the most popular outdoor destination in the entire florida state park system. With miles of sugar-white sand beaches, striking coastal dune formations, nature trails, picnic areas, playground, 119 family camp sites, youth camping area, boat ramp, 1,900 acre wilderness preserve and more... It’s not hard to imagine why.
Hiking, walking and nature viewing is enjoyable on the two nature trails and 14 mile hiking trail through the wilderness preserve for you to explore and observe the various wildlife and plant communities. Many varieties of birds, mammals, and plants inhabit the park. White-tailed deer are the most observed, but bobcats, raccoons, otters, and alligators can be seen.
The excellent fishing opportunities for sea trout, redfish, flounder, pompano and whiting attract many fishermen to the area. Come during scallop season (july 1 - september 24) and catch your own bay scallops; it is great family fun and our bay scallops are some of the most delicious things you will ever eat!
If you want to relax and do nothing, check out eagle harbor. It is a popular hang-out area of the park with boat launch, small store with essentials, water toy rentals like kayaks, and one of the coolest viewpoints in all of gulf county! Walk up the boardwalk and take in the 360-degree view of st. Joseph bay on one side and the clear waters of the gulf beach on the other side. Both are great spots to put up your umbrella and let the kids play in the water.
