The rental space occupies the lower beach level of this beautiful European Lodge style home at the end of Finley Point with sweeping views of Flathead Lake, the Mission mountains, Wild horse Island, and the Bird Islands. This space (1700 + sq,ft.) features two lake view bedrooms and two baths (one ensuite and one off of kitchen/2nd bedroom area), media room with wood burning fireplace, private outdoor stone patio with gas grill/comfy seating and steps to 1000 ft of private shoreline featuring a secluded pebbled cove.

(An additional 400 sq. ft. Luxury bed/bath space with lake view is also available).

Other amenities include a tennis court with basketball hoop, 2 lakeside decks, private forested 10 acres with orchard and miles of walking, running and biking opportunities on Finley Point. Approximately 20 minute drive to Polson MT, 45 minutes to Bigfork and 90 minutes to Whitefish or Glacier National Park.

This truly unique property is shared with homeowners occupying upper floor and is impeccably decorated in European lodge style. The rental space is accessed through separate entrances requiring a walk down a stone path. Please see photos for images of path as it is not well suited for those with limited mobility.

Phenomenal experience

This property is beautiful. The home itself is a work of art, the views are unimaginable. The deer roam free on Finley point and there are plenty of picture opportunities from the deer as well as the Big Sky Sunsets.

The accomodations were fantastic and the hosts are wonderful people. This is the best place to enjoy nature and take in the best view of Flathead Lake.

We are already planning our return trip next year.

My family (2 adults and two boys ages 13 and 15) spent 4 days here in late August. We found the property a perfect fit for our crew. The two beautiful bedrooms each has amazing views of the lake and islands. The large library/entertainment room allowed us to spread out and never feel crowded.

We ended up spending most of our time at the property swimming, kayaking, playing tennis and basket ball, fishing (no luck here), and BBQing.

We spent 4 days in Glacier before hand and we were happy we did not plan to travel up to Glacier from the property as it is a good 1 1/2 drive to park entrance and park is huge once you enter it so we would have spent a lot of time driving.

The owners who were on-site were wonderfully helpful and generous to share such a special place. I would return without hesitation.

Summer Bliss

Leaving this review is hard because words really can't express what a wonderful place this is to stay. My family had the most wonderful vacation here and we were really able to shut down and enjoy each other. We drank our coffee each morning watching the sun rise and listening to the waves from our private beach, ate each meal by the water and campfires each night. We have already decided that we are coming back. Barb and Bob were so great! They were so accommodating and helpful, always checking to see if we needed anything. Best place to stay on Flathead!!

Like having a private lake

The Cove has to be one of the nicest 10 acres on Flathead Lake. Bob and Barb were great. Just as another traveler said, they were there when you needed them but the rest of the time it felt like the place was ours. The tennis court was nice to have access to. The kayaks, the grill, the fire pit at the beach and WIFI. We cooked every day but one evening, when we tried Cherries BBQ in Polson, which we'd recommend. The location felt remote, yet everything we needed was a quick drive to Polson.

Great Property great location lovely owners

A superb VRBO property that offers the chance to share the owners one of a kind property right on the water's edge. The owners are lovely people who take care to ensure that their guests feel at home and enjoy every part of this spectacular property. The kayaks are a real bonus and there is great exploring to be had right there on the property and surroundings. The sunsets from the deck are very special. The South shore of the lake makes for easier access to Missoula flights and the Finley Point area is perfect for an 'away from it all' holiday. We loved it. Thanks Bob & Barb!
