About this property

The rental space occupies the lower beach level of this beautiful European Lodge style home on the lake at the end of Finley Point . It features sweeping views of Flathead Lake, the Mission Mountains, Wild horse Island, and the Bird Islands. This space (1700+ sq. ft.) features two lakeside bedrooms and two baths with the ability to sleep four. (There is an option to rent an additional 600 sq. ft. third bedroom for two additional guests with lake view, full bath, kitchenette, walk-in closet, TV and seating area. The third bedroom will not be rented separately.) The main two bedroom space includes a cozy media room with wood burning fireplace, private outdoor stone patio with gas grill/comfy seating and just a few steps to about 1000 ft of private shoreline featuring a secluded pebbled cove.
Other amenities include a tennis court with basketball hoop and table and chairs, 2 lakeside decks, 2 lake view patios, private forested 10 acres with orchard and miles of walking, running and biking opportunities on Finley Point. Approximately 10 min. drive to two of Polson's best restaurants, a 20 minute drive to Polson, 45 minutes to Bigfork and 90 minutes to Whitefish or Glacier National Park. This truly unique property is shared with homeowners occupying upper floor and is impeccably decorated in European lodge style. The rental space is accessed through separate entrances requiring a walk down a stone path. Please see photos for images of path as it is not well suited for those with limited mobility. The quoted rate is for only rental of the two bedroom space and will be adjusted upward accordingly if the additional bedroom suite is added. Contact owner for details on renting the third ensuite bedroom and bath. The private lake side decks are the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee/evening cocktails, sunsets , and star gazing. Whether you're looking for a private romantic getaway, nonstop family fun, or a couples' reunion, this is it. Take the four kayaks with life jackets and a picnic to the Bird islands ( about a half mile) for a fun adventure. As hosts we love the unique privacy and character our property has and our guests over the years seem to agree.

Perfect location and getaway

This is a beautiful property in a wonderful spot on Flathead Lake that made for a perfect long weekend getaway. The owners were very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay which made it even better! The location on Finley Point was private, the accommodations were 5-star, and it had a spectacular view of the lake from the back patio and beach area. We hope to return in the future!

Exquisite!

The amazing property, inside and out, the beauty of Flathead Lake and the sunsets, the sounds of the water lapping on the beach, activity options too numerous to fit in under a few weeks…I could go on. Bob and Barb are gracious, responsive, respectful, helpful hosts. An experience we’ll be talking about for years to come.

Bob and Barb were amazing hosts! Such wonderful people. The house and property/location are breathtaking. We saw countless deer and osprey. It truly is a magical place to stay and it will be a trip we will remember for a long time to come!
