About Pam Burnup, Manager
My name is Pam Burnup. I am the property manager for the owners of this beautiful property. It is my pleasure to answer your inquiries, take the reservations and also oversee the cleaners and maintenance of Riversong Lodge. I have been in business as a property manager for 5 yrs and have cleaners and maintenance people that own their own businesses as well, so they really take their jobs seriously. I vacationed from Ohio to the Smoky Mountains for 20+ years myself before I moved here and always stayed in a chalet or cabin. This gives me experience as a guest on what I would want to have for our guests to make sure their visit is perfect. We strive to make your experience with us pleasant and full of wonderful memories for yourself and your friends and family.
Why Pam Burnup, Manager chose Pigeon Forge
I love this property! The Riversong area, the wooded private location, the sound of the river, AND the great floor plan. Every time I walk through this house it just has a wonderful feeling. The great room is very pretty, with a hand-painted mural by a friend of mine above the kitchen area, and fun framing above the great room half-bath. The lodge has 3,880 square feet, which is huge for four bedrooms, and results in the great sense of spaciousness and tranquility you feel when you are there. We strive for the "WOW" factor!
What makes this Lodge unique
Each bedroom is a king master suite which includes in-suite bathrooms, whirlpool tubs, and private deck spaces; beautiful granite kitchen bars for hanging out; craftsman-quality woodwork; big fun game rooms with a sports bar feel. This cabin has top-of-the-line elements and workmanship, in a market with mostly average cabins. The theater room is great fun for all ages to enjoy.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Perfect family getaway!
We had a wonderful family vacation here! Our party included grandparents, parents and kids between teenage and 2.5 years old. Our party of 10 felt very comfortable and entertained in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the game room and the movie room! Plus those Mountain View’s. The main floor living room was perfect for guitar led singalongs we all had plenty of room to enjoy each other but take our quiet breaks when needed. Thanks to Pam for being a friendly and responsive property manager! Highly recommend!
It was everything we expected and more.
Only problem is Internet was used up and almost non existent
Me and my friends had a great time there.
The perfect stay for Gatlinburg and beyond
The pictures in this listing only show part of the story. This beautiful home is just a short drive northeast of downtown Gatlinburg, but the setting is perfectly secluded. You are also a short distance to groceries, trails and the Smokey Mountain National Park.
You get to the home by first crossing a bridge over the Little Pigeon River. The river at this spot is beautiful and is a short walk down the hill from the home. You can hear the rushing water of the river from the home. The cabin is very clean and opens into a large open floor plan that includes the kitchen and great room with large windows looking over a large deck and a view of the mountains.
The owners have helpful labels on almost everything so you can’t screw things up and you don’t need to spend time trying to figure things out. Everything you need to cook is readily available and easy to find in the kitchen. Two large master bedrooms with large bathrooms are also on the main floor in addition to a 3rd half bath. Upstairs is another large bedroom with full bath. Downstairs is a game room (air hockey, pool, and video games) with full bar and refrigerator and another large bedroom/bath and another half bath. On a full deck on this lower level was a large hot tub that was clean and hot. There is also a really nice theater room that I had prepared for but didn’t use due to the distractions of the other amenities and views. Had we had bad weather we would have used the theater room but there was so much to do at the house and close by that we just didn’t get to it. I kind of wish we did have bad weather so we could have taken advantage of all the home’s amenities.
I can’t say enough that the owners have thought of everything and have obviously taken great care to make this place an exceptional stay. It is so clean, so well laid out, so well stocked. It is truly exceptional. There is literally too much here to do. I will not even search for another property when we come back (and we will come back.). Like the listing itself, this review does not tell the whole story, but I am 100% sure that if you rent this property you will be satisfied beyond your expectations.
I finally had a moment to read our reviews. What a delightfull review you have written. I appreciate so much you taking the time to go into such detail for future guest possibilities. I couldn't have explained our property any better.
Please do come see us again soon. It was wonderful to share our home with you.
9 of us and we had plenty of room
Good location only 20” from gburg
As soon as you open the front door and see that view...wow.home was decorated nicely for Christmas. Had everything you needed to cook in the cabin including spices. Also, house was very clean.
Built in the lovely hardwood forest of Riversong, this property is located just above the sparkling, amazing Little Pigeon River. You can always hear the river, which is why this neighborhood is called Riversong! The house is just two miles from the Greenbrier entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which provides year-round hiking trails; gravel roads for walking, running , and biking; and summertime swimming, fishing, and tubing.
