Why Chris Williams chose Queen Anne
The top of Queen Anne hill is the oldest residential area and one of the most popular neighborhoods in Seattle, named after its beautiful Queen Anne style homes. This area is known for its Crown Walk, which offers stunning views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains and the Space Needle. The house is located in a safe, quiet, green residential area, with shops three blocks away. A 94% Walkability Score ensures you will have everything you need within a few minutes’ walk (stores, Farmer’s Market, shops, cafes, restaurants, parks, pool, wading pool, library, and [free!] gym and weight room), while Seattle’s most popular tourist attractions (Seattle Center, Space Needle, Museum of Pop Culture [MoPOP], Opera House, ACT Theater, the Farmer’s Market and Seattle Art Museum) are just a short bus ride away.
What makes this House unique
Original inlaid hardwood floors. An ideal home for families with children, with child-size tables and chairs, sandbox, numerous toys, games, children’s books, and art supplies, as well as two playgrounds, a recreation center, a library, and a wading pool are within easy walking distance. (The school is a preschool most of the year.)

We can't wait to go back!
We are already planning our next trip to Seattle and are really hoping this house is available. We have two toddlers and the house runs as a preschool throughout the year so you can imagine we were thrilled to be a place that was so kid friendly. We also loved the neighborhood. I really enjoyed being walking distance from basically everything you need. Can't wait to get back!
I'm so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. I look forward to having you back. I was impressed at how well you took care of the house after three weeks of wear and tear by two young children. Everything looked great! Hope to see you next summer!
Our stay in Queen Anne
The house is in an ideal location and worked out very well for us. We appreciated the fenced in backyard as we were babysitting our granddaughter while we were staying there. I would recommend that you inform the owner prior to your arrival that you will need to use the second bedroom if you need it. The house is used as a preschool and the second bedroom is a classroom during the school year. Be aware the bed in the main bedroom is a double bed and a pretty tight fit for two adults. There is an inflatable queen mattress that can be provided. One last note. There is another tenant who rents an apartment in the basement. Not a problem, just be aware in case you hear them.
I'm glad to hear that you were able to take advantage of our backyard. This is a great house for visiting children!
Yes, as my listing indicates, we have a double bed. And guests need to reserve the extra bed in order to use the back room.
Thanks so much for staying with us!
Sweet house, sweet location!
This cozy home is far more beautiful than the photos show. Amazing wood floors and just a great over-all vibe. And the location -- atop Queen Anne -- is excellent. We walked pretty much everywhere -- all over the neighborhood. A great place to land in a great Seattle location. And owner Chris was easy to work with from the get-go. Definitely recommend. Hope to return.
The Seattle Center, Space Needle, ACT Theater, Opera House, Museum of Pop Culture [MoPOP] are just down the hill. The Farmer's Market, Seattle Art Museum and Seattle's main retail area are a short bus ride away. A two- to three-minute walk to bus lines #2, 3, 4, 13. Street parking is available. Two medical clinics and two dental clinics within 3 blocks.
