We really enjoyed our stay here. We like the outdoors and we could walk to the bluffs right from the cottage. We also went to Van Damme State Park, very close by. The cottage and yard are really nice, cozy and comfortable. We would stay here again!

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway. The shops and restaurants all in walking distant and beautiful neighborhood for a leisure scroll. Heather was a wonderful host and we enjoyed staying in her beautiful cottage. Her garden was an absolute gem especially seeing all the beautiful flowers this time of year. We will definitely be back for another visit! Highly recommend staying here!

Heather is a great host. She is very friendly and told me about all her favorite restaurants and best places to eat. She has a great attention to detail as to things provided to make your stay comfortable. She even put out a package of local dark chocolate. Yum! Her garden is beautiful. I loved watching the hummingbirds I as walked the meandering path back to the cottage. She calls it the "Cozy Cottage" I refer to it as "Hummingbird Haven." Lots of hummingbirds! I will definitely go back to Mendocino and will stay there again.

Heather has a beautiful garden, home and a very clean one bedroom/one bath unit that was very cozy. The sheets were so soft (we found out that she irons them!). We love our visits to Mendocino..we will be back to stay here, for sure!
