Sleeps 6. 3 bedrooms. Incredibly convenient to everything. Tubes provided for river floating. Walk to the Comal river (ten-minute walk). Charming interior. Relax on the two porch swings and watch the world go by. Walk to two bakeries, 3 coffee houses. Central air. Large eat-in kitchen, fully equipped. Great view of deer at play and while eating our vegetation. Off-street parking. High-speed Wi-fi. Cable TV. Two full baths. Clawfoot tub. Dining room. Walk to spas and nail salons. Walk to Wurstfest (15 minutes). Walk to antique stores in town. Built in 1910. High ceilings. Close to the San Antonio Street bridge over the Comal River on the town side of the river. Hardwood floors, hardwood ceilings.

We call it Bonaparte Place as it is on Napoleon Street.

Cute home with an even better location. We were able to walk to dinner and bars as well as access the river to tube. My only complaint is the beds- pretty hard and squeaky. Great hostess!

We were SO thrilled with this rental. Everything was super clean and easily accessible. The house is absolutely adorable and the host was so kind. We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a great location, the tubes provided were wonderful, and there were deer all around the property which was unexpected but absolutely delightful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the swings on the porch are perfect for winding down in the evenings or sipping coffee in the mornings. The bedrooms are a great size, comfy beds, super nice towels in the bathrooms. Our families really enjoyed being here and we would absolutely love to stay again during our next time in town. Parking in the driveway has space for two cars, and the host also provides parking permits if you have another vehicle parked on the street. The kitchen was functional and cute, all the amenities worked and were beautifully clean. It was a fantastic stay.

We are Leslie and Tom in the photo. We love living in New Braunfels and welcome you to our town. We are both Texans recently returned from living in the New York City metro area. When we visited New Braunfels from 1990 thru 2003, we stayed in the house on Napoleon when it was owned by friends. In 2004, our friends sold it to us. We use it for our friends who come to town and rent it out short-term. It is a charming place. It was built in 1910 or so. Wooden house. We call it Bonaparte Place because it is on Napoleon Street.

Why they chose this property

Bonaparte Place is so centrally located. Living is easy. The Arlans grocery store is a 5 minute drive. There are about fourteen good restaurants within two miles. The best in-town music venues are a ten-minute walk away. My siblings and I came to New Braunfels frequently as children. We fell in love with the river and the trees. As children, we spent all day in the river. My husband and I brought our two daughters here from New York City on vacations. When we decided to leave the hub-bub of NYC, New Braunfels was our choice.

In 1979, a local family built the water park known as Schlitterbahn. Over the years, they added on and now have three sections of park with lots of rides. It is tons of fun.

In addition, New Braunfels has a huge music scene. Downtown has three or four bars with music five nights a week. And then there is the famous Gruene Hall. It is a ten minute drive from the house. If you like music, check the schedule immediately and buy tickets for your stay. The shows sell out quickly for name artists.

New Braunfels is a great place to stay and play. Don't forget your sunblock, cooler and water shoes. We have towels and tubes for you.

Our house was built in 1910. It takes you back to a simpler time. It has hardwood floors, hardwood ceilings, a claw foot tub, and a modern shower. The back deck offers a private place to hang out at the end of your day. This is the perfect place to relax and get away from your day to day life.

Our wonderful maid is a clean freak.
