About Leslie J Lammers
We are Leslie and Tom in the photo. We love living in New Braunfels and welcome you to our town. We are both Texans recently returned from living in the New York City metro area. When we visited New Braunfels from 1990 thru 2003, we stayed in the house on Napoleon when it was owned by friends. In 2004, our friends sold it to us. We use it for our friends who come to town and rent it out short-term. It is a charming place. It was built in 1910 or so. Wooden house. We call it Bonaparte Place because it is on Napoleon Street.
Leslie J Lammers purchased this House in 2004
Why Leslie J Lammers chose New Braunfels
Bonaparte Place is so centrally located. Living is easy. The Arlens grocery store is a 5 minute drive. There are about ten good restaurants within two miles. The best in-town music venues are a ten minute walk away. My siblings and I came to New Braunfels frequently as children. We fell in love with the river and the trees. As children, we spent all day in the river. My husband and I brought our two daughters here from New York City on vacations. When we decided to leave the hub-bub of NYC, New Braunfels was our choice. In 1979, a local family built the water park known as Schlitterbahn. Over the years, they added on and now have three sections of park with lots of rides. It is tons of fun. In addition, New Braunfels has a huge music scene. Downtown has three or four bars with music five nights a week. And then there is the famous Gruene Hall. It is a ten minute drive from the house. If you like music, check the schedule immediately and buy tickets for your stay. The shows sell out quickly for name artists. New Braunfels is a great place to stay and play. Don't forget your sunblock, cooler and water shoes. We have towels and tubes for you.
What makes this House unique
Our house was built in 1910. It takes you back to a simpler time. The house is built of wood. It was hard wood floors, hard wood ceilings, a claw foot tub and a modern shower. The back deck offers a private place to hang out at the end of your day.

Great house, great location
Had a wonderful time. Was in easy walking distance to downtown. Great back and front porch for relaxing. Will definitely come back!!!
Best place ever!
The house and location are awesome! The renters are very nice people. I highly recommend this rental. I know I will be renting this location again in the future.
Great house & Great Location!
Perfect house for our group of 6 people. The location gave us quick access to the Comal River and a quick drive to the Guadalupe River. We tubed both rivers in one day. We also loved all the deer that roamed around the house. The front and back porches were charming. We will stay in this house again
Great house in convenient location
We really enjoyed our stay in this charming house. It's within walking distance to the Comal River and Schlitterbahn, minutes from popular downtown hangouts and a 10 minute drive to Gruene. The house is well provisioned....we cooked dinner several nights with no issues. Having the tubes available made floating the river easy and convenient. I would definitely recommended this property and would stay there again.
Adorable river house
This house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with friends. It was easy to check in, needed items (parking permits, extra keys, etc) were all easy to find. There was a list of nearby restaurants (complete with average wait times!) that was very helpful. The house was adorable, and a great size for three couples. We enjoyed the friendly deer in the backyard, they were a highlight of the trip.
10 minute walk to Comal River tube shoot; 10 minute walk to Schlitterbahn Waterpark; 5 minute walk to Nagelin's Bakery, coffee houses on town circle, antique shops, music, restaurants and bars in downtown New Braunfels
