Great location to explore the entire island. Very friendly ownership who worked with us to extend our check-out time. New property with all the facilities required for a long stay. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, open, clean & quiet!

My family and I were so lucky to be able to find this gem in Kauai during our recent trip. There were 17 of us (adults & children of all ages) and we all fit extremely comfortably. The house is situated in a very quiet and safe neighborhood in Poipu. Although we didn't spend much time exploring the beaches in Poipu, as we traveled all over the island each day, the beach is fairly close by as are some awesome shops & restaurants. The area is so clean and welcoming. Kathryn was by far the most amazing property owner that we have ever worked with and we stay in VRBO/AirBnB homes quite often. She was more than accommodating and so very helpful. The floor plan of the home is spectacular. The rooms were all a good size and we LOVED having the A/C units in the bedroom. Kauai was pretty warm and a teeny bit humid at times so the A/C units were a great addition to being comfortable. There is a large deck which is great for grilling and a nice dip in the hot tub. Everything inside the home is very well taken care of and the house had everything we needed! The garage even had some umbrellas, beach chairs and sand toys that we used during a couple of our beach days. I can't say enough good things about this place - it was beautiful! I truly hope to visit Kauai again someday, it was magical! 😊

This is a top-notch property appropriate for all ages!

This place is really perfect. The house and ohana are well- equipped and located in a beautiful neighborhood close to an amazing beach. We much prefer staying in a nice, upscale neighborhood over a noisy resort. I would rent this place again in a heart beat. I have rented many houses and this is certainly at the top of the list. The owner is very accessible for questions and that was a plus for me as we had small children and I had questions. Everything you need is at this house and then some.

A Lot of Home for the Money, Great Location

Beautiful newer home with very large living spaces that easily accommodated our three families. Great amenities. Spacious main house with comfortable guest house that offerred an escape to the seniors in our group. Served as a base for: a walk to adjacent Kiahuna golf course, short drives to sky diving, zip lining, tubing, scuba diving, helicopter rides, Waimea Canyon look out, and numerous beaches and hikes. Lots of beach gear in the garage including surf boards. This was our second time to Kauai; last time we stayed at Princeville on the north side, and this place offered a different and equally awesome set of experiences. The sunnier weather and calmer surf on the south side of the island (rain shadow) offered lots of beach time more accommodating to the younger kids and moms in our group. Super interesting stores and shops within walking distance or very short car ride as well. Don't miss the natural juice bar and acai bowls in the back of the market a couple stores down from Seasport Scuba near the round-about. We still explored the familiar sites on the north shore and did the 4 mile Napali Coast hike to hidden falls I'd highly recommend if you are up for a semi rugged hike. This place had me considering what it would take to own a home in this fairly new development. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome Place!! Beautifully decorated, immaculate, spacious.

Our entourage of 11 included 8 adults of varying ages and 3 children 7, 11, and 1 1/2. We rented both houses on the property and could not have been more pleased. Both were immaculate and beautifully decorated, with plenty of space for all. All the bedrooms are generously sized, but the master bedroom in the main house is huge. There are ceiling fans and, rarer, individual a/c units (wall installed, not window units) in every bedroom. There's lots of windows throughout and more ceiling fans to take advantage of the great trade winds. We never ran out of hot water (I believe the owner has Renai units (sp.?)), even with people taking showers at the same time. The kitchens are well stocked, with a granite island sink in the main house for preparation and washing up. The great room in the main house (the kitchen/dining room/living room area) is really spacious and enhanced by the very tall ceilings. We all gathered there every night.

The owner was super generous with plenty of bath towels, beach towels, bath products and paper products. There were some boogie boards, lots of beach chairs, and other beach stuff in the garage (there was even a surfboard and a paddleboard--we didn't use those--check with the owner on usage).

Outside are beautiful, long lanais running the length of both houses, with plenty of chairs and tables for drinking your morning coffee or watching the gorgeous sunsets. The property is close to another house (it's on a corner) and in a residential neighborhood, but still felt private, and there was very little street noise. The lanais currently face an empty green space across the street. One extra nice touch--a carport in front of the main house door, which made loading and unloading easier.

As for location, it's an easy walk to some of the shopping areas, which have various restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, and retail shops (clothing, art galleries, etc). The beaches are a longer walk--if you're carrying a lot of stuff and/or have small children, driving is easier.

As for Poipu and the rest of the island, the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook is an invaluable resource, with outstanding, detailed descriptions of beaches, hiking trails, activities, and restaurants. We've been to Kauai 5 times, and still use it every time. Don't miss: Waimea Canyon, Hanalei Bay, Hanapepe Friday Night Art Walk, Kekaha or Polehale at sunset (you can see Ni'ihau and Lana'i from both). Explore it all from this lovely property.
