Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We stayed for two nights during the winter snow storm at Sona Tra in Arch Cape and had a great time. The house was clean and had lovely design elements. The view and location right on the beach was wonderful. However, the kitchen sink had a loose pipe and started leaking on day 1, and the balcony doors were warped and were very difficult to open and lock. Overall, we probably would not stay at the same house again given the difficulties, but appreciated the dog-friendliness, the cleanliness, and the gorgeous view/backyard beach access.
Great place - We spent a few days there in November. The view was fantastic, the kitchen well supplied and the beds comfortable. I would definitely recommend the house. The sun was out. That was an added bonus. The OR coast is a great place to visit all year.
The house is fantastic. Great decor. 3 good bedrooms. Layout is perfect social space with absolutely jaw dropping views.
The bathrooms are original mid century so not great modern showers or anything. Didn't bother us.
One note if you have a dog is the yard is not fenced and right next to the public beach access so you always have people walking past and a few cars pulling up - can't let dog roam outside alone.
Location is great, but there are some issues with the condition of the property that need attention.
My husband and I visited friends in Portland in June 2015. They took us to Cannon Beach for a 4 - 5 hour visit. What can I say, I fell in LOVE w/ the area. So much so that I booked my vacation in September 2015 for 30 days in Arch Cape (the longest amount of time allowed for vacation rental in Oregon). I'm an Arizona native so I was so in awe of the Oregon terrain. What an absolutely beautiful place to visit. So beautiful, I want to buy a house there so I can become a "Snow Bird"! Arch Cape is Intoxicatingly Beautiful!
