Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The location is great for walking around town and about a 5 minute walk to Peak 9/lift. The condo was clean and although older has been nicely updated. My only major complaints are the sofas were very uncomfortable and should be replaced and the floorboard heaters knock at night. Also, if you have a larger group the glassware and utensils are limited.
Overall this is a nice condo with a great location to both town and the ski slopes. You can walk to the Village/Peak 9 in 5 minutes. We had no problem with the reservation process...please note if you book through VRBO that the check in time is actually 4pm not 3pm. The condo has been updated nicely with the exception of a few things that need to be replaced (couches were very uncomfortable and coffee pot didn't work). The glasses and utensils are limited if you are staying with a larger group.
Perfect location with a great view. Very nice place to stay! Would definitely stay here again!
Spectacular view of the mountains from the front deck. Very quiet building, lovely "mountainy" furnishings, nice bedding. Everything you need to make a meal is in the kitchen, and a nice gas grill on the deck to make a steak or a burger.
We greatly enjoyed the river walk and all the small stores along Main Street.
The three stars given to this vacation condo were for (1) Location: it was situated in downtown Breckenridge which offered wonderful walkability within the city. (2) The condo was nice: it had enough room for my family, a small gas fireplace, a grill on the porch, and sufficient beds. (3) The price was incredible for a 2 bedroom condo in downtown Breck!
The downside of this condo is as follows: (1) While there is a hot tub on the condo premise, it was so dog-gone hot, both nights, that I and my family could not handle the heat. Now, I have enjoyed many hot tubs in my lifetime but have NEVER been so repulsed by the extreme heat of these hot tubs. I tried to keep my feet in the water for 15 seconds and could not for fear of hurting myself...my hand could not even stay in the water. These hot tubs were likely 120 degrees both nights of our stay. (2) The condo has sufficient beds however the bedding was poor. The sheets were coarse, like that of hospital bedding, the pillows were uncomfortable and lumpy, and the mattresses were mediocre.
Overall, I probably wouldn't return to this condo in the future.
