Enjoy all the comforts of home in this fully furnished modern, smoke-free condominium. This unit has 2 extra large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, a large living room with a gas fireplace, dining area, kitchen and laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Enjoy the view of the mountains from each of the two decks. One deck has a Northern view of the slopes and the second deck has a Western view of the slopes.

The master bedroom has a master bath and a large walk-in closet for extra storage.

The second bedroom has a bath accessible from the bedroom or hallway and also has a walk-in closet.

Enjoy a good nights sleep on the Queen size beds. Also located in the living room is a Queen sleeper sofa.

During the winter you may walk a short 150 yard,2 blocks, 8 minute walk to the Base 9 lift or catch the free shuttle (picks up in the front of the complex) to the lifts.

Base 9 condos are located one block from historic Main Street in Breckenridge. You are within walking distance of it all; shopping, dining, night live and entertainment.

Take the free shuttle to all of Breckenridge, Frisco, Silverthorne and the outlet malls, Dillon, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

Enjoy five world-class ski areas, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain and Vail, all within a 30-minute drive. And don’t forget the five championship golf courses located in Summit County. Hiking, rafting, bike trails and fly-fishing abound in the area.

About Gary Whiting

Thanks for visiting our web site. My wife Julie and I reside at Lake Winnebago, MO, just south of Kansas City. We have one son. We own our own manufacturing business in Lee's Summit, Mo. I grew up in Lee's Summit and my wife was born in Vermillion, KS, but moved often as her dad worked for the railroads.

Our son works for Expedia as a programmer. Now he gets paid for what he previously was in trouble for at home when growing up!

We had looked at many units in Breck and choose this unit based upon the easy access to town and the mountains. You can walk practically everywhere.

We liked the two outside decks to give two different mountain views. Most owners at this complex do not rent out, so most of the time you have the place to your self.

What makes this condo unique

This unit is large compared to other units we considered. Also the association does an excellent job of maintaining the outside appearance.

The bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the condo and provides for privacy.

The open kitchen/living room keeps everyone in the loop and no one misses out on the actions.

This January, four friends and I had a blast during our stay in Breckenridge. The location of Base 9 is perfect for experiencing all that Breckenridge has to offer. Every morning we took a quick, 5 minute walk down to Quicksilver and were up the mountain before we knew it. At the end of the day, we would regroup for an après-ski at the brand new outdoor hot tub just around the corner from the condo. In the evening, we would all head out to enjoy the entertainment and shopping on Main Street. Some of Breck’s best bars and restaurants (Mi Casa, Ollie’s, Breckenridge Brewery, La Francaise, and Crepes a la Cart to name a few) are within a leisurely 10 minute walk. It was really nice to be able to explore the town on foot. We also were lucky enough to see the International Snow Sculpture Championship during our stay. It was fascinating to track the progress that the competitors made on their sculptures during our daily walks around town. Events like this are happening in Breckenridge all the time, and staying at Base 9 made it easy to be a part of the festivities. On the nights that we stayed in, the condo had everything we needed to prepare our meals and entertain ourselves. The oven, grill, and stove were great for cooking breakfast and dinner. We watched movies on the big-screen TV, played games in the dining room, and lounged in the living room when we were too tired to go out. The floor plan was great because the two bedrooms were across the condo from each other. This gave us all plenty of privacy, and I didn’t have to worry about waking everyone up on the mornings that I got up early. One of the best parts of our trip was working with the property’s owner, Gary. I had no trouble reaching Gary by email or phone whenever I had a question about the property. In addition to being available for questions, Gary set up the HomeAway mobile app with all of the information that we needed during our stay. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in Breckenridge, I highly recommend booking with Gary at Base 9!

Cozy condo, short walk to restaurants and shops, all the essentials.

The condo was great, nice and cozy. Has pretty much everything you need to cook meals there (saves lots of money compared to eating out all the time). Plenty of places to hang your jackets and ski/snowboard gear, and storage for other equipment. The beds were comfortable and the recliners were awesome to sit in and watch TV. It’s close to the center of town, short walks to shops and restaurants. A stop for the free shuttle service to the slopes and around town is right in front of the entrance to the property for added convenience. Overall, great bang for your buck and I would stay there again on another trip to Breckenridge.

Nice condo in great area.

Condo had everything and was comfortable enough. Furnishings were dated and it could have been a bit cleaner. But it was good value for the money and the location was very convenient.

Comfortable and convenient

The unit was larger than other 2 bedroom condos that I’ve stayed in. While not luxurious, it was comfortable and better equipped than other condos I’ve rented. It was also convenient for walking into town. Having a shuttle stop right in front of the condo was also a real plus.

Great location - recommended

Me and my daughter stayed at this location for 3 nights in Feb 2018. Location is very good, we used the free ride service, that has a stop on the edge of the property, to get to the peak 9 base where you can get to a couple of lifts, so no trouble at all with all the ski gear.

The condo itself was comfortable , well equipped so we were very happy. We used our car during the stay to get to the main street and the city market for restaurants and groceries. Recommended location.

Home away from home

Our first property in 10 years of renting condos that had all the amenities of home. All the cooking utensils, humidifiers, blankets, linens, etc. Also, well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place, clean and easily walkable to downtown Breckenridge

Everything was exactly how the VRBO was described. From the time we checked in to the time we left it was a great, smoothe experience. The condo was clean and the neighbors were friendly. The walk is about 10 minutes from downtown.
