Great Condo - Highly Recommend!
This condo was perfect for our family of 4! The location was the best part - short walk to Park City Town chair lift and super close to all of the shops & restaurants on Main Street. We never had to use our car unless we were driving to another mountain to ski.
The condo was very clean when we arrived with plenty of room for us to hang out and relax after a day of skiing. The kitchen had all of the amenities needed for cooking, just know that there are no ingredients/food staples at all, so be sure to buy everything you need. The washer/dryer was used often and was super useful to have.
Jodi, our main contact, was extremely responsive to all of our questions about the building / unit as well.
The only negative about the unit is that there is virtually no sound insulation from outside noises and it can get a bit drafty. Most of the week was very quiet w/ few vacationers so it was not an issue, but the last night we stayed was Easter weekend and it was super loud outside until the wee hours of the morning. I probably would not recommend this unit during peak weeks unless you are planning to stay out late yourselves! There is also construction going on next door, so starting around 7:30 every weekday morning the construction noises would start, making it hard to sleep in if you wanted to. Noise from upstairs neighbors can be a problem as well; you can hear every footstep.
Overall, however, it was a terrific place to stay and we'd rent it again!
Best location in Park City!!
WOW-Couldn't get better than this for location. This spacious clean condo is over looking Historic Main Street and steps away from the chairlift. I didn't rent a car because everything I needed was steps away-fantastic restaurants, museums, Egyptian Theater, shopping, yoga classes and world class trail hikes. Park City has a great free bus system (1 block away from this condo) along with a free Trolley-you can travel up to 6 miles around for free. The staff was great for check in/check out and they were pleasant with answering all my tourist questions. I'll be back for sure!
Location, location, location! Next to town lift for skiing and on Main Street to walk out for all the action and restaurant options. Beautiful clean and updated condo worth the price!
I am very happy to hear you enjoyed the unit. Please let me know any time you would like to come, we would love to have you!
The best place to stay in Park City. I did not need to drive anywhere the whole trip. Hope on the town lift to go skiing, walk up main street for shopping and restaurants. Even when we wanted to get away from main we could hop on the free city shuttle to get any where we wanted to go. The room itself was great and was everything it was advertised to be.
Great location. Minor flaws. We will rent again.
This condo was perfect for two adults and 3 teens. We will rent again. Great location with short walk to town lift and restaurants. Covered parking is a bonus.
Docked one star because the kitchen dishes and especially the utensils could use a good scrubbing and the drawers cleaned out. Also it would be nice to put a small shovel out by the hot tub for clearing the snow off. The condo has no ski locker.
The location is clearly what you pay for with this condo.
Be careful what you wish for with a directly on Main Street location. Main Street is hopping until after midnight so the revelers could be heard from this second story condo. And then the snow plows, restaurant food deliveries and trash collectors start their day at 6am. So it was not the quietest place.
The property management company was excellent. Jodi Overson at All Seasons Resorts was super responsive.
The condo itself was two bedrooms: the master bedroom on one side, the living quarters in the middle, and a second bedroom on the other side with 2 queens. Little kids can sleep 2 to the bed, but teenagers and above are tight. The bathroom in one of the bedrooms did not have a door separating the sink area from the toilet and shower, so either check or your modesty or plan accordingly if you have multiple genders.
There was a pullout couch in the living area. Covered parking in the basement was great for those with a rental car. Easy in and out. However you can literally walk to everything from here so a rental car isn't really necessary if you don't want one. We have found the cost of transporting five people to and from the SLC airport to Park City equals the cost of a rental car, so we always get one anyway. It makes grocery runs easier and affords us the chance to ski at Alta or Snowbird.
The kitchen is very small. The kitchen items were dated and in need of a refreshing: utensils, bowls, plates, coffee mugs were all kind of thrown in there. The coffee maker worked but you had to put something heavy on the cap to keep the lid on and allow the water to drip. We also left our boots and skis out in the hallway to dry as there was no storage or bench space in the condo. The hot tub had problems (there were no directions and we couldn't figure out how to add water to the hot tub - because it was so cold we were afraid to touch anything on the hot tub for fear of turning the heater off, in which case the water would have frozen overnight). The problems were addressed quickly by the staff but the condo needs directions for the users.
Overall this was a very expensive proposition but in terms of location, we could put our name in at High West and come back to the condo and wait. We could also ski to the corner of Park and 7th and be in the condo in 90 seconds. You are definitely paying for the location, not the luxury.
