Perfect location with a great host who was very accommodating. It's a nice setup as you have privacy but are directly close to everything. Very comfortable accommodations that match the pictures. Would stay again.
Stayed here for 4 days over 4 th July. Spent lots of time at beach.. Loved the place and custom decor! From Seattle and was cooler than expected.. Bring long pants sand warm sweat shirt. My 22 yo loved surfing every day. Short drive! Or .5 walk to beach😁
This beautiful apartment is right across the street from the bay and Morro Rock! You can’t get any closer than this! Right in the heart of town, yet not overwhelming in terms of noise. Even though it is a one bedroom, it is spacious with beautiful vaulted ceilings, comfortable surmising and huge kitchen with granite countertops. Super clean and fun nautical theme. Val was super easy to work with and helpful with ideas for restaurants. Love the sounds of the sea lions and gulls all times of the day!
Is a cute little place and with the best view of the Morro Bay Rock. It was great drinking my coffee every morning and looking at the sea otters swim away.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a five-day stay in Morro Bay and had such a great time. We took in all the sights including an w-bike tour, sunset cruise, hiking to Morro Rock and kayaking. The local restaurants were very good. … we ate way too much. Our host Val was terrific and even mailed to us a bag of souvenirs that we left behind. So appreciated! (Gifts for the grandkids! Eek!) We would definitely come back!
The apartment is right in front of the Morro rock, you get the undistracted view of the bay and the rock! There are always sea otters in the bay where is only few steps away from the apartment. They are entertaining to watch. Big kitchen and fully equipped, new refrigerator and microwave, not super clean kitchen but it didn’t bother us because we don’t cook when we are on vacation. The king size bed/mattress is very comfortable. You can hear the bird and seagull noises and sometimes they can get loud, but it didn’t bother us and we actually love it! Easy checkin and checkout process. A bakery/breakfast place right underneath the apartment is a big plus! We just rolled out the bed, went downstairs to get coffee and breakfast, brought it back to the apartment while enjoying the fantastic view in front of the bay window.
The apartment was furnished with everything you could think of including sunglasses… The location was magnificent right in front of the water close to restaurants and shops. Just wanted to sit and stare at the ocean for hours. Easy to get around from the central location. Enjoyed it very much and would recommend it for to anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable stay.
This property is one-of-a-kind -- HUGE kitchen with tons of seating options to host dinners. I, alas, was alone, but spent a lot of wonderful time on the couches overlooking Morro Rock and near the fireplaces feeling cozy while listening to teh seals.
Note this is on the main street, so it's great for walking and ease of access but not super quiet during the day on weekend. But there's so much to see and do in this area why stay indoors?? I strongly recommend looking up hikes that are ~20 minutes outside of town. So much beauty that is so close!
Val is an incredible host - very responsive but not overbearing. I would love to stay here again!
Huge bay windows fill your living room with a perfect view of Morro Rock. We enjoyed watching the fog roll in and out, hiding and revealing the rock for an ever changing landscape. The accommodations themselves were fantastic. Location was perfect, walk a few steps out the front door to all the great restaurants and shops you could want. Valerie was a great host. We'll be back!

Best view of Morro Bay.
This was a great place to stay. Not only was it the best view and most convenient, it was quiet, clean and had the best bed ever. Also, great place to watch the sunset. The accommodations were clean and welll stocked. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely stay at this place again.
