What a beautiful place to be! Watching the sunsets from the deck was such a treat. We enjoyed being "out of town" and in this secluded area. It's an older building, but grounds are well maintained. Great host and great communication. Could use a thorough cleaning.
All the comforts of home but in a secluded paradise. We stay at many vocational rentals and this property is one of the best furnished with the best communication from the property managers. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Mahalo for your great review, we hope that you return someday.
Aloha!
Our trip to Molokai was fantastic! Couldn't have asked for a better location and host. Thank you Dorothy for always being available when we needed and welcoming us to your amazing getaway. Mahalo!
The view from the lanai was fabulous. I enjoyed my stay. My only complaint was the lack of wi-fi in the unit. Using the AOAO wi-fi(Kepuhi) was spotty and weak at best. Otherwise, I’d recommend this well equipped unit.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. The wifi can be spotty depending on both servers that feed Molokai.

The property was perfect for my husband and I as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and visiting friends on Molokai. The location was a short walk to the beach and the pool and had everything thing we needed to enjoy our stay. The property manager was so nice to work with. Thank you!

We Loved Molokai and your place
We loved staying at your condo. It had everything that we needed. We
ate all our meals on your lanai. The location and view of the ocean
was amazing. We did some hiking to the beaches to the north and they
were almost deserted and so beautiful. We hope to come back and stay
at your condo again in the future hopefully for a longer visit.
Thanks again.

The kitchen was the best equipped of the 3 units we stayed in at this friendly condo complex. And the water toys were nice to have available.

Convenient to parking lot . Amazing sunsets from lanai . We would stay again ( this was our fourth trip to this resort and the best unit so far ! )

Disliked: Cleanliness
Not clean
The location was what we expected, nice and quiet. Everyone was very friendly. The kitchen looked like it had been updated and was very nicely stocked. The bed was comfortable and the there was a new couch in the living area. Nice beaches close by. Biggest complaint - everything else very old and the place was extremely dirty.

Very surprised & sorry to hear that the unit wasn't clean. We seldom rent out our unit because we like to come over and use it. We know that there have been lots of high winds which can blow in dust and dirt. If we had known there was a problem in the beginning of the stay we would have sent someone to take care of it.

We had a wonderful time in your nicely furnished and comfortable condo. The view from the lanai was great, and besides the beautiful sunsets, we also enjoyed watching the huge waves crash on the cliff to the south. We appreciated the island info sheet you sent us and found the Maui/Moloka'i guide book in the living room very helpful--we referred to it every day for planning our daily outings.
We hope to return in the future! :D

It’s so far from everything:
The property is fine, but so far from anything else on the island. There are no restaurants on the west end-very isolated. The unit is fine-no dishwasher and the walls are very thin. Definitely a case of faded glory. Half the condos are boarded up. If you wanted no interaction, this would be fine.

Molokai isn't for everyone. The west side has beautiful uncrowded beaches and wonderful sunsets. We have guests that return every year to enjoy the peacefulness of the island.
For those wanting restaurants close by and lots of people I would suggest Waikiki or Maui.
There isn't a dishwasher, that is for husbands. There is a washer/dryer in the unit.
Geez where to start... my husband and I absolutely loved the place. It was prefect for just the two of us. Cute, cozy and romantic. Every night we cooked dinner and ate on the balcony and watched the sunset over the ocean. We miss it still now. The employees on the property were so friendly also. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life. I'll still give it five stars but my husband's and my only complaint was there was no actual glass on the windows just the the screen so it was like a wind tunnel at night (a little loud at night). Overall all we loved the place. We won't be back to this island since the pace was too slow for us but if you are visiting you won't regret picking this place. Mahalo!!!

Mahalo for your review, there has been non-stop winds for awhile now but most of the time the screen sliding doors are a god-sent.
This property is wonderful. The view from the lanai across the landscaped grounds to the ocean beyond was absolutely gorgeous. Whether for coffee in the morning while watching the whales breaching offshore or for cocktails in the evening watching the sun set behind the palm trees, the view is everything you hope for in Hawaii. Everything inside is comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked for anything you might want to cook. I never turned on the tv so I can’t comment on that but who comes to Kepuhi to watch tv? The sound of the waves breaking was all the entertainment I needed. Great place, highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend a little quiet time in paradise enjoying the beauty of Molokai’s beaches. Mahalo!

A cozy base camp for beach goers
This second-floor unit perfectly delivers what you would expect from a two-story condo in a large seaside resort complex. A nice bonus point comes from its location. Molokai by itself is an island with no traffic light nor buildings taller than its palm trees, which we appreciated a lot. Then this is at KaluaKoi, the far west of the island. Serenity and quietness were everywhere. We went hiking to Kawakiu Beach, an adorable little cove with a beautiful white sand beach. Throughout our hike we met only two human beings and one sea turtle who had been resting on the beach when we arrived. No cars, no urban noise. Just the sound of waves and winds. If you are a beach lover I would strongly recommend this condo for your base camp!

Well-stocked condo in an ideal location for peace and quiet
We love Kaluakoi for its quiet and beautiful empty beach. We looked at several condos on the property and this one fit the bill. Dorothy was lovely and easy to work with. The place has a gorgeous view, and is well-stocked with beach equipment, kitchen, and bathroom supplies. The owners really made it easy to step right in. The only real downside was pretty poor internet access. The unit does not have it's own internet, but uses the resort's Wi-Fi, which worked only occasionally and not well while we were there. If you need to stay connected, this is not the place to go. But if you're there to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet it is ideal. Thanks Dorothy!

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay but are sorry about the internet. Usually we have no problem with the WiFi but sometimes there have been cable issues but usually they don't last more than an hour or so.

Has all the basic necessities
The added loft with queen bed made the condo feel much more spacious though it was hot if you were not the one sleeping on the side with the bathroom windows. My friend found it much cooler to sleep on the sofa downstairs. The balcony overlooks a nicely maintained green area, however we were reluctant to take advantage of the table & chairs and lounge chair as the balcony was swarming with black witch moths. These moths greet you on your way up the stairs as well and some of them do dive bomb you so be warned. Overall it is a nicely appointed condo perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Note the DVD player is in the loft area (hot), but I think it would be better to have one for the downstairs TV.

We do get the moths in July or August for a week or two, especially if it has been a no wind situation. The humidity was bad during this time due to the passing tropical storms. Usually we have a nice trade wind breeze and the loft has a good cross breeze as well as the ceiling fan.
Dorothy the host was amazing and swiftly responded to my request to extend my visit.Condo exceeded expectations and lacked nothing for a comfortable stay!Wil
My husband and I spent three nights here on our recent trip to Molokai. The condo was easy to find, the check in/out process was smooth, and the place had all the basics needed for a relaxing trip. Cell service and WiFi are spotty, so this isn’t a place you should plan to stay on a “working vacation,” but Molokai probably isn’t what you’re looking for anyway if that’s your jam. Kepuhi Beach and Papohaku Beach are gorgeous and basically deserted, although it was a bit windy and rough when we were there in early November. The old resort in which the condo is located is largely abandoned (due to decades-old water rights battles on the island), but that just means it is VERY quiet. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a quiet vacation spot where you can mostly do your own cooking and want a good base for exploring a less touristy Hawaiian island, this is your place.
Molokai is our go to Hawaiian Island. The lack of tourism is exactly what we love. This island is for those that enjoy the outdoors and creating their own fun.
Fantastic view with lots of extras. Peaceful location with great trails.
We enjoyed Dorthy’s vacation home immensely.
Dorothy was well organized, had great instructions, and was very responsive.
If you are looking for a great sunset most nights, Very friendly and helpful neighbors when needed, great hiking trails, fantastic wide and sandy beaches and a peaceful environment, this is your place to stay.
