There are 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is located located on the front door facing the driveway. Camera 2 is located at the back exterior of the home facing the patio. Camera 3 is located on the western side of the home facing the mountains. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion - NOTE: Please note that this is a rural mountain property located near horses; as a result, flies are common during the hottest weeks of the summer season. We keep the cabin stocked with fly traps and deterrents, and a simple habit of keeping doors closed tight goes a long way toward keeping them outside where they belong. We think the trade-off — sweeping views, fresh air, and horse neighbors — is still very much worth it.

We absolutely loved our time in our Nathrop Vrbo! Our host was communicative and friendly, and the house was well stock with everything that we needed. All of these were worth a 5 star rating alone, but the VIEWS from the house were spectacular! We will definitely look forward to visiting and staying here in the future!
Thank you. We are glad you enjoyed the surroundings!

Exceptional Host & Breathtaking Collegiate Peaks Views
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The owner truly went above and beyond with communication and accommodations, always incredibly quick to respond to any questions and so helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the Collegiate Peaks that made every morning and evening special. The beds were comfortable and had everything you needed for cooking! That extra thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed and really made us feel cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!
This is a great place to stay. Had everything we needed. Amazing views and just a few minutes away from our favorite hot springs! The hosts were easy to communicate with as well. Highly recommend.
This place is perfectly located to hike Mount Princeton, swing by the hot springs and then grab something to eat in BV. Will be coming back! Pete and Jordana were excellent hosts, great place!
Great location with great mountain views. Enjoyed the many horses in the pasture just out the back door. Easy commute to the slopes and great access to restaurants and shops.

Perfect cabin for our needs.
Located close to Mt Princeton hot springs and plenty of room for us. Our group had five people. The recommendations by the host were perfect. We went on a short hike and tried some places in BV. Highly recommend this rental.
We were in the area for a trail running race and it was the perfect spot, close to trails and a soak in the hot springs. Pete and Jordana were super helpful and easy to work with. The place was clean and comfortable! And the views from the deck were outstanding. We will definitely stay here again.
This is our second stay at this home and we loved it even more than the first time. It’s very convenient to everything and is very comfortable. Pete and Jordana are great to work with and their house has a feeling of being home even though you are away from home.
It was the most perfect place to stay for our vacation and we loved every minute. The house was spotless, nice and spacious and outstanding in every way. The views were spectacular and it was easy in and easy out. Thanks to you for making our vacation one to remember.
We skid monarch while we were there. I was a little worried about the driving distance to the mountain but it was a lot easier commute than I thought. The proximity of the house to the hot springs was also a major plus. This property has an amazing view as well. Check in was easy as can be. All around fantastic experience.
It was very hot when we stayed. The house doesn’t have A/C. It would cool down at night. It was right next to a big horse stable, so you really smelt horse urine. The Mountain View was amazing. It was a great location. I would stay there again.
We brought our teens for skiing and snowmobiling. The property was perfect-great layout and location. The kids had their own rooms, and we liked our upstairs master (en suite). The house is perfectly situated for Salida, Buena Vista and the hot springs. We enjoyed visiting with the horses in the pasture beside the property, too. The view from the deck was made for coffe in the AM and beers in the evening! Thank you for a great trip!
Great place to rally the troops (family) and see points north and west. Horse ranch has all types of trail rides (ask about the blue heron community). House has everything you can possibly need. Doesn't really have a yard - just scrub. Terrific views of mountains and sunrise /sunset. Full moon over the mountains with a sky full of stars is something you won't forget.
Our adult children and us stayed for a week and it was the perfect location for us as we rode four wheelers most of the week! It was right in the middle of a lot of trails so we did not have to travel super far. Place was very clean. We ended up leaving a day early and when I reached out to the owners to let them know they could send cleaners in earlier, there was no response from either. The knives in the kitchen were dull so next time when we come (and we will def be back!) I will bring some knives to help me cut my meat and veggies we were preparing for dinner. The kitchen is pretty equipped as far as crockpot and pots and pans, but could use some bowls for like popcorn or salad. The views are gorgeous and we loved sitting outside watching the sunset and the animals.
The moment we pulled up there was a herd of of doe and a couple of bucks moving through the property. The view was absolutely beautiful! The house itself was cozy and had such a great feel to it. It was a perfect size for our group of 6 with everything we needed from the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. It was a short drive to Mt. Princeton, Bueno Vista and Salida. Booking, checking in and out was a very easy process. We can't wait for future stays!
Great place for girls weekend away or single family. Wasn't able to enjoy fire pit as it was a little cold during our stay, spring/summer would be ideal. Mt Princeton Hot Springs was very close and relaxing. Two towns very close for an afternoon drive and lunch. Host was awesome!! Would highly recommend for a getaway. Thank you.
Comfortable, clean, convenient. The only improvement would be to put the house number (or some sort of marker) out by the road for better visibility at night.
The house was clean and the proximity to the hot springs was fantastic. The flies from the adjacent horse farms were a bit irritating, but manageable. Overall, had a great stay and would recommend it to others looking to explore the local area.
