Enjoyed our stay. We used the kayaks to go up river and got to see a manatee. A quick trip to Pine Island beach as well. Home is well stocked and very comfortable.
This was the cleanest verbo I have been to so far. Everything was just how it said it was. It was stocked with everything you could ever need. It was a wonderful experience.
What a great vacation rental! They had everything we would need to make our stay comfortable. The views were wonderful and we never ran out of stuff to do!
Had a lovely stay at this wonderful property. Dawn was a great host and wonderful communicator. Great location for access to the park and just a fantastic spot for relaxing.
This was by far the best place to get away everything was as said but way more!! Great host and a amazing place one of my best vacations almost want to keep a secret!!! from the dolphins and manatees to the fish 🎣 and amazing paddle to the springs perfect get away will definitely be back 😊
What a lovely property. It’s so cozy and peaceful. It was just as described with all the amenities. We loved being able to hop in the kayaks from the dock and go down the river. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at Like a tree house. Seen 4 Manatees the very first day, this is our second time staying at Dawns place and would highly recommend it to anyone!
We stayed here about 8 years ago and loved it. We tried to reserve it again a few times over the last few years, but it was always reserved. We finally got lucky and were able to reserve it for our Weeki Wachee vacation. It was just as we remembered it, maybe even a little nicer. The house had everything we needed and was perfectly appointed and equipped. I can't think of a thing we needed that we didn't have.We loved sitting on the elevated deck watching the canal as fish swam by, it was so relaxing. We paddled up the Weeki Wachee (best done during the week as the weekend can get pretty wild) and we paddled out to the Muddy River. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and will definitely try to rent The Tree House again.
Such a great spot to spend a quick weekend getaway. The property was just as listed, super cute and homey. We brought our own paddle boards so we didn’t use onsite kayaks but there are plenty to spare with life vests available for use.
