Great house!
We stayed here for 3 months in the winter and it was a wonderful spot! The house is very clean and has all of the amenities you would ever need - including a huge grill and efficient ice maker! There is a large fully fenced yard and a nice wide driveway to park in. We easily walked into cute Encinitas daily (the town has very few sidewalks which can get precarious - but locals are generally very nice about going around you!). The property management company was amazing - very easy to reach and quickly responded to any requests. The one negative would be it's on a somewhat busy street at a 4-way stop so you definitely hear traffic. We very much enjoyed our stay though and would recommend this bungalow to anyone wanting to visit Encinitas!
Great place
The property is in a great location close to the beach, restaurants bars and shops. No need for a car unless you want to travel further afield, the bus and train station are also in walking distance. The property is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen looked very well equipped, we never cooked too many nice places to eat out!! Nice area outside to sit.
Great summer stay in Encinitas
The house was ready, clean and presented well when we arrived. The property is a 5 minute walk to downtown Encintas and all the great restaurants/retail stores. It was better than advertised with extra special touches, k-cups supplied, soaps, cleaners and firewood. Highly recommend the house, the management and location, location, location!
Beautiful home! The enclosed yard was perfect for kids and the rooms were very spacious
Can't wait to come back, my family had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed the firepit for roasting marshmallows on the cool nights. House was very clean and came with all the amenities.
Very good experience
The Requeza home was lovely. Kitchen was well equipped, property and furnishings were beautiful and clean. Towels were plentiful, beds were comfortable, and there was a brand new pack n play for my toddler to sleep in. The location was very nice, in that, it was a bit removed from the hustle of downtown (yet very walkable). And for any adults wanting to stay, it's perfect location to walk to beach. In the description it says .25 miles to beach, which my be true, to see the water. But actual beach access is further and could be challenging with small children. Needless to say, we managed and still had a great time. If you have a car, then the walk is a non issue with the children. And I totally recommend this place as a great option!! Thank you for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Great house for hanging out with our family
We had a great stay in Encinitas. House was nicely configured for our family with 2 young kids - the yard is completely fenced in, so we were able to open the doors & move in & out for BBQing or relaxing outside. Whole Foods, coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Beach would also be walk-able for some, but not for us with young kids & lots of stuff.
Location
Located along six miles of Pacific coastline in northern San Diego County, Encinitas has an approximate population of 60,000 and is characterized by coastal beaches, cliffs, flat-topped coastal areas, steep mesa bluffs and rolling hills. Our city was incorporated in 1986, drawing together the communities of New Encinitas, Old Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Olivenhain and Leucadia. There is a significant flower growing industry in the City and many people claim that Encinitas is the Flower Growing Capital. As the City has developed, it has grown up around the pre-existing flower growers. San Diego Botanical Gardens is a beautiful oasis to visit with an Amazon Rainforest and the largest display of bamboo in the world. The gardens of the Self Realization Center are beautiful and sit overlooking the ocean in a serene garden-like setting. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy our Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, a championship 18 hole par 72 course with panoramic ocean views. This public facility has five tees available and can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Downtown 101 is a coastal shopping district over 100 years old featuring historic architecture, quaint shops, sidewalk cafes, and restaurants framed by beautiful flower baskets. The organizations Downtown Encinitas Merchants Association (DEMA) and the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce are a great resource for information on business in Encinitas. The beaches in Encinitas are outstanding. There are many stretches of beach that lie between Cardiff-by-the-Sea and La Costa. The surfing is unbeatable and many surf contests are held throughout the year in Encinitas. The San Elijo Lagoon Reserve is the largest coastal wetland in San Diego County and is home to nearly 300 different bird species throughout the year.
