Love living in Sarasota; we've been there off and on since 1999! We also own & operate The Reserve SRQ, a popular local coffee/tea shop, craft beer bar, wine bar/wine shop with live music on weekends just about 2 miles away from this home.
Kim purchased this House in 1999

It was clean and had everything we needed. Awesome!!
Thanks for a wonderful stay. The AC could have been a little cooler but overall it was a great location and a delight.
Hello, it was a pleasure to have your family/group stay with us! The house was in immaculate shape when we returned home. Thank you so much for your kind care of our home! Secondly, July in Sarasota is hot and we've had record temps this summer. We have a recommended thermostat temp of 74 degrees posted by the thermostat, but for you and/or future renters: If needed, you can turn it down a little cooler for sleeping and such. Again, we appreciate you and hope you'll think of us when you next return to Sarasota! We have this home and then a number of properties at The Reserve/The Reserve SRQ (like a B&B)...there are coffees, teas, light bites, craft beers, wines and live music, so maybe something to check out if/when you return. Thank you so much, again!
Great Rowing Home Base
Stayed at the house for USRowing Youth Nationals at Benderson Park. Very convenient to get to the race at 6am, and great for the adults to kill the rest of the day at the beach, fishing, etc. in the afternoon once the girls were done and came home to rest. Worked out great for two families to share. Parents plus a rower and parents plus a rower.
Scott, thank you so much for the great review. Appreciate having you all as guests! Hope to hear from you again next year!
Great Family get together
The house was in a wonderful family neighborhood and a short walk to a harbor to see a beautiful sunset. 5 Minute drive to downtown Sarasota. The house had plenty of space for our family vacation with my brother and my families to get together. Pool was heated and refreshing. Kim the owner was very approachable and easy to reach to answer any questions we had during the week. Would 100% rent this house again.
Wonderful home, great location!
We hosted a family reunion at this North Shore Dr home and were very pleased with our accommodations and the wonderful owner. Kim is a fantastic communicator, responding to emails and texts very quickly. She was proactive about any issues and more than accommodating with our requests. The pool was perfect and heated. There were plenty of towels for bathrooms, the pool and the beach, along with laundry soap to do laundry. We walked to the bay daily and kids played on the playground overlooking gorgeous homes and the bay. Overall, we would return if the need arises again!
Lovely home in a quiet beautiful neighborhood just a quick drive to downtown Sarasota, St. Armand's circle and Lido beach. The home has a very nice and private suite which was used by a grand parent. The open kitchen living area was very nice for cooking and the dining area /living room were spaciously comfortable.
There is a nearby park with swings and slide at the water edge and a good walking destination.
Having a very private yard as well as pool was relaxing and a nice setting for chatting.
I found this home ideal for our multi generational family to come together for a holiday visit.
Exceptional stay at a great house; loved the beaches!!!!!
July 12 – July 18 (stay)
My friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend and we had the best time exploring Sarasota and spending time on Sarasota’s amazing beaches. We spent several days at Lido Key and a couple of days at Siesta Key and we had the best time. The beaches of Sarasota really can’t be beat.
The house itself is awesome and has a very comfortable and open floor plan with a great kitchen that was perfect for the couple of nights when we cooked at home. The kitchen and dining room had ample space for us to all hang out, congregate, cook, and have a few cocktails. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of them. We enjoyed hanging by the pool in the evenings when we were completely exhausted from the day’s activities!
The owners were awesome and very nice and accommodating. It was great to have a whole house and pool to ourselves without the crowds and expense of a hotel. The house’s yard is very private on the back with lots of tropical plants which was great. We were close to everything that we wanted to do, and see. It was a great value for the money and we will definitely be returning in the future for our next get-together.
Conveniently located near Nathan Benderson Park and University, in walking distance to Ringling Museum (one of the world's best collections of Baroque & Renaissance art), Ca'D'Zan (John Ringling residence), Asolo Theater, Muse Restaurant, the Bay, 10 minutes from downtown Sarasota, St. Armand's Circle, and beaches! Very short walk to Bay where you can fish, watch for dolphins & manatees, and kayak. You can enter Bay at end by the large fish statue for fishing or kayaking, but water shoes recommended.
